A must do for everyone who spends a few days in the Auckland region. Cam was a very professional guide and also very funny. Abseiling in a waterfall, jumping, crawling through little caves - awesome!!

I did the canyoning 1 hours after landing in Auckland - what an awesome way to get over my jet-lag.

Cam was our guide - he was great!!! Showed us some tricky descends and gently made me push my boundaries. I loved every minute of it.

The nature around us was SPECTACULAR!!! A must-do if you're in Auckland even for a few hours as Piha is just 40 min. away.

Loved the abseil and the waterfalls we encountered on the way down were amazing!

The absoulte best way to experience the beautiful nature of New Zealand is to hike, climb, abseil, swim, slide, crawl and jump! All in one activity: canyoning.

Waterfall abseil in Piha Canyon:
It was a fantastic day and I totally enjoyed it.

Tony did an amazing job: great balance between ease & encouragement and thoroughness and sensitivity to safety & people at the same time!!

Just perfect!

Fantastic fun. Starting with a short walk through the canyon, followed by lots of abseiling, cliff jumping and climbing. Very friendly and professional staff.

Canyoning with AWOL was an awesome experience, not only the canyoning but the history and knowledge of the forest reserve area in which it took place. Friendly professional guides, good equipment and very safety concious catered for all levels old and young making it an awesome day out with food provided along the journey. I recommend AWOL Canyoning to anybody who wants a fun day out and see the awesome west coast of Auckland

Great first canyoning experience - Tony did a great job of keeping the pace good for everyone on the trip, and was very patient and encouraging with anyone who was struggling. Gear was well-maintained and I felt very comfortable with its use.

Very personal experience - the same person who picked us up from the hotel took us through the canyon, and even took us to the beach after the trip!
