Excellent! We stayed in the non-powered sites about 30 seconds walk to the beach! Toilets, showers (+50c) and kitchen all spotlessly clean. €30 a night for 2 ppl, non-powered van.
Access savings worth hundreds of $$ on Top Ranked NZ Accommodation and Activities for just $1 per day.

Great place to stay. Short walk on paths across conservation dunes to get to beach! Multiple amenities blocks. Clean 50c 5min showers; huge fully equipped kitchens with glass front fridges. Bit boggy on grass but plenty of other options for motorhomes.

Clean facilities, nice beach. Paied 40$ for powered site (2 adults and one infant). Would recommend.

Highly recommend this site. Just over the sand dunes had a powered site, just next to a sand dune beach entry. Facilities at this site were exceptionally clean and well designed. We also used the washers and dryers in the laundry. Very good value. The beach was beautiful and we had a great walk and long safe swim.

On a splendid large beach, separated only by a sand dune. Rather off the beaten path but great for families with children. Clean kitchen, big kitchen. Two grill plates. Shower is 50 cents. Restaurant / coffee shop in walking distance. Place to chill out at super nice beach.

10 plus from us. We found this great place on our way back from North to Auckland by coincidence. We wanted to stay 1 night but stayed another one. It's a big well maintained camp ground with a very few permanent campers and some local families. Others are surfers. The beach is directly behind the dunes. Wonderful. During low tide great place for kids for playing and swimming. During high tide quite high waves, many surfers. The pitch was first row behind the dunes. During the night we could hear the waves. Facilities as big kitchen, all weather room, toilets and showers (.50cents) very clean and tidy. There are 2 playgrounds. After about 30 nights in NZ it's the best camp ground we have stayed at. Thanks for this nice spot.

Right behind the dunes, very clean, hot showers 5 minutes for 50cents, perfect. Kitchen with everything and barbecue. Very nice, just no sea view 😉
