Our ship HMAS WARRAMUNGA had the pleasure of experiencing a great day of horse riding, which was enjoyed immensely by some of the Officers and crew and was followed up by a very nice home made lunch and Archery and other Weapons. Thanks to Briar and the team.

Awesome time. Briar took time to make our little girl feel comfortable( and me) as we are very un- horse- savvy! Was definately worth it- we had a buzz going for the whole day :)

Great ride, beautifully trained horses , would have ridden again if staying longer
Went to Briar's when I was on holiday and it was excellent I really liked the horses and the ride with nice views. I love horses and it was great to be able to include a horsey experience in my holiday. :)
Came back to Briar's for my third trek inside 12 months - just can't beat the experience - 3 hours of gorgeous New Zealand forest, riverbanks and farmland with views out to the Bay of Plenty. Fantastic horses (especially Gorgeous - she really is!) and guides well suited to my ability, will definitely be back and bringing my friends!! Thanks to Briar and the Team
My two daughters are horse mad and we were very lucky to come across Briar and the absolutely gorgeous setting at O'Hara's farm. My girls were immediately under expert hands from both Briar and Nat, helping to catch the horses, tack them and then ride. We visited three times in two weeks and this has definitely been a highlight of their time in NZ. I recommend this for anyone wanting to get in the saddle in NZ.
Wow, what a fantastic hour and a half trek, we live in such a beautiful country and the trek gave me a friendly reminder of just that. Incredible views, farmland, deer, little piglets, waterfalls, the beautiful jade greens of the Kaituna River, this trek ticked every box. We trotted, cantered and had lots of laughs, the two guides that took us on our trek were fantastic, gave clear instructions and ensured we were all well looked after! We will be back for another trek very soon, perhaps a longer one next time!
Thanks so much Briar and Team.
I dragged along a nervous crew for a trek on my birthday, of the 6 of us, only 2 had ridden before and felt confident - so we were a very inexperienced mixed bunch. The guides were brilliant, they immediately made everyone feel at ease with their confidence and ability. By the end of it we were all cantering (or something that resembled cantering) and the smiles were so big they lasted for days. The horses were beautiful and obviously really well looked after. I would highly recommend Briars - the scenery is gorgeous and the experience is wonderful.
