Makara Country Escape is a quiet, relaxing, private location for only a few guests - two super sunny sites are currently available.
You'll love staying here because of the: - Amazing farm and forest views - Unpolluted night sky and nocturnal bird life; you may even hear a kiwi!
Close proximity to various outdoor pursuits including: - 5min drive to Makara Beach (swimming, walking) or West Wind Windfarm (walking tracks) - 15min drive to Makara Peak Mountain Bike Park - 15min drive to Spicer Forest (walking and mountain biking tracks) - 15min drive to The Skyline (walking and mountain biking tracks) - 30min drive to Wellington CBD.
You're welcome to stay here if you're travelling in a self-contained motorhome or self-contained campervan - medium sized campervans (~7m in length) recommended for ease of access.

Directions from road to Park Over Sites - come 200m up the driveway and then take the first right turn (up through the gate) and the two sites are a further 200 meters along on the left.
