Mighty River Domain

The Mighty River Domain has 60 powered and 80 non powered sites.

We welcome tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes.

These sites can be hired individually or in blocks during events and non-event times.

Two amenity blocks with toilets and showers

A kitchen with two ovens, a single chest freezer, a double door fridge, a hot water unit and four sinks

A laundry facility is located on site, laundry costs are $4 per load

A dump station and plenty of water taps for refilling tanks

Only basic camping facilities are provided. You will need to bring all your cooking equipment and linen, and everything else that is required for an enjoyable camping experience.

  • Une nuit entre Taupo et Waitomo.

    Très propre, beaucoup d'emplacements avec électricité, bien à plat et sur gazon bien entretenu, à quelques dizaines de mètres du lac. Hyper calme et propre. Nous étions au maximum 5 campervans très espacés. Il y a une cuisine bien fournie, une laundry (4$ en pièce de 2$ par machine), possibilité d'acheter de la lessive et d'échanger "note" contre "coin". Pas grand chose aux alentours, lac utilisé pour sports nautiques en fin de journée, bien pour une nuit d'étape. Endroit propice aux grands événements. Dump station avec eau potable.
