Set among the beautiful Rangitīkei countryside on State Highway 1, Flat Hills Café and Tourist Park is a relaxed and family-friendly place to stop, stay and explore.

Our campground offers 12 powered sites, along with unpowered camping options (tents allowed), surrounded by spacious grounds, farm animals and rural scenery. Guests have access to clean shared bathrooms with hot showers, a communal kitchen, BBQ area and a comfortable campers’ lounge with a large television, books, games and a children’s play corner. Free Wi-Fi is also available around the grounds.

We also offer five cosy pod cabins and a fully self-contained cottage for guests looking for a little more comfort. Please note that the pods are not self-contained and require a short outdoor walk to the shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.

There is no traditional reception check-in. Arrival instructions and access details are provided before your stay via email.

Well-behaved pets are welcome in the campground and outdoor café areas but must remain supervised and under control. Pets are not permitted inside the pod cabins. The cottage is pet-friendly by prior arrangement.

Our café is open seven days a week from 8:30am to 3:00pm, serving homemade food, great coffee and popular favourites including our custard squares, lamb burgers and cooked breakfasts (until 11am). Guests can also enjoy the farm animals, maze, playgrounds, lawn games and bouncy castle during café hours.
