We rented it for a month and it worked out perfectly. Adam was super responsive to any questions we had prior to our arrival. We needed to contact him once while we had the camper and he was quick to get back to us. We highly recommend Adam and Hazy Campers!

My partner and I rented a van through Hazy Campers for a 10-day North Island road trip, and it was an incredible experience!
The van was thoughtfully designed, spotlessly clean, and felt brand new - super comfortable for our journey. Adam was great to deal with - friendly, helpful, and available if needed. The after-hours check-out process was a huge bonus, allowing us to enjoy our final day without rushing back. If you're looking for a reliable, well-equipped camper for your travels, I highly recommend Hazy Campers! Cheers guys

Had an amazing trip with the Hazy camper.
They provided everything we could’ve needed, including new linen, cookware, cleaning, towels etc. The bed was easy to setup and surprisingly comfortable mattress. Plenty of storage, easy to drive.
Very friendly and easy to communicate with. Couldn’t fault them, highly recommended. Great people 10/10.

We recently hired a campervan from Hazy Campers and would highly recommend.
Our vans interior was modern and equipped with everything we needed for our trip around the Northlands. Adam and Ben were incredibly friendly, helpful and responsive. We would definitely hire again.

We rented a campervan for 12 days from Hazy.
The van was in exceptional shape. The van was 5 years old but drove like brand new. It had brand new lithium batteries and never fell below 13 volts even with the fridge running 24/7 off the batteries. Speaking of the fridge, it was bigger then the usual bar fridge. We compared it to other campervans we checked out during our travels. Especially good was the freezer section that was not only bigger it was very well insulated and didn't freeze up like a typical bar fridge.
With Hazy you didn't need to pay extra like the other companies we looked at. Table, camper chairs, tea pot, and excellent butane camper stove. Even the accessories were top notch like the sharp knives provided, dishes, cups and cutlery. The design was excellent and actually had a USABLE toilet. We met several couples who showed us their van and the toggle toilet was not ideally usable.
The bed and pillows were great. The duvet cover was excellent. At not time were we cold and there were some very cold nights.
Ben, who took care of us, was excellent. He took his time to explain everything to us, Demonstrated everything to make sure we understood and ensured we were comfortable. Have us lots of useful information.
I don't normally take the time to do a long review like this but with Hazy I wanted to share for those first time campervaners like us!!!
When we come back and trust me we will. It's Hazy all the way for us!!!

Super accommodating with any requests, above and beyond. The van itself was a perfect set up - you couldn't ask for anything more. All inclusive of linen, table etc. Great power and water longevity! Would highly recommend Hazy Campers :)

I will be back.
Van was in pristine condition and never missed a beat, was super comfortable to both drive and to sleep/chill.

Right from the start, Adam (the Managing Director of Hazy Campers) was so responsive and extremely quick to answer my enquiries.
After researching the many options for the style of campervan we were after, I chose Hazy Campers because of Adam's professional and prompt replies to my emails. He's a great communicator and this played out during our trip when I needed to ask a question about setting up the bed. Even at 9pm, he replied straight away with clear instructions.
The van was so well equipped and super stylish - Adam had thought of everything, even down to the brand new matching towels with the Hazy logo, new linen and enamel coffee mugs that were invited to keep at the end of the trip. Adam also suggested an option to leave it all with him and he would donate to charity.
We toured the Coromandel from top to bottom and the van didn't miss a beat. It's comfortable to drive and roomy enough for two people. There's a fridge/freezer that ran constantly and was powered by the big solar panel on the roof. We didn't plug into the grid at all and our phones were charged from the USB port on the control panel. There was plenty of storage for all our gear and we prepared and cooked most of our meals in the van.
I have previously hired these type of vans and this one was streaks ahead of the rest in comfort, cleanliness and equipment.
I thoroughly recommend that you bypass the big commercial companies and support Adam and his Hazy Camper crew. They're bloody excellent!!

We had the absolute best time in our Hazy camper travelling around New Zealand’s North and South Island for 3 weeks!
We have rented multiple campervans in the past and none of them have been nearly as comfortable. The standing room makes changing and cooking a breeze and the battery was always fully charged, without needing to plug in at a paid campsite. The only reason we needed to pay for a few campsites was to have a shower. Thank you so much Hazy Campers, we hope to be back soon!

We had about 8 days to go around Northland. The camper was super spacious and well equipt with everything we needed. Very modern and clean too. Would definitely hire again.

Had such an amazing time hiring out Adam's van, it was perfect for what we needed for a 2 week road trip around the North island.
Adam's communication was great throughout the hire, quickly replied and answered any questions we had. Van was in great condition and the lay out made it easy to live in for 2 weeks. Had a spacious dining area that converted into a bed, a little fridge which was just the right size and a large water tank which definitely came in handy
Only feedback I would have is more storage would be great however this is only due to us having suitcases, if we took backpacks if would of been much better
Overall it was fantastic and would definitely hire this again, it was the best way to see New Zealand
