Was a lovely day. The animal welfare standards look very good. Enclosures maintained to a very high standard. We got to see a Sun Bear fed as well as many different animals and a good entry fee.

Big cages, fair pricing and nice walks. Great location and not too many animals (perfect for a few hours). Rescued wildlife animals and clinic. Good way to see Kiwi.

Nice Zoo, small entry fee with student discount. The animals are kept in nice places and very friendly staff are always around to answer questions.

This is, for sure, the best little Zoo in the world! :)
You can see the Zoo is very serious about conservation and the animals. The enclosures were big and well kept and the animals looked happy.
You can plan your visit around the feeding times and talks.
I also did the Red Panda Close Encounter and it was AMAZING. Definitely one of the best experiences of my life.

This really is the best little zoo in the world.
There has been a huge investment here in recent years. The vet centre lets you view any surgical procedures they have on.
If you like talks, you can almost follow the experts round.
