Rented the Go Glamper with a 2 wheel drive Toyota Altis.
Well in summary:
Pros: large bed, green (solar powered), has a small fridge, well stocked utensils, can park and go; Fancy looking - attracted much attention and conversation.
Cons: difficult to manoevre a trailer (spent 15 min to half an hour longest) , no heating, too many keys and locks!, need a 4WD going up gravel paths / steeps (we got stuck once and require passerby assistance to tow), setup / tear down takes a while
Finally a 5-rating because of this one thing:
CAUTION! Go Glamper does not offer zero excess (min 250 NZD) and with so many moving parts/ jacks/ plastic rim wheels, we were charged for a broken plastic rim (front wheel of the trailer), which was due to wear and tear as we definitely did not have any accidents. Charged 40 NZD for that. So be careful as there are bound to be many more stuff (e.g. lights/ latches/ tables/ chairs/ zippers/ doors) that will fall apart with time and use, and good luck if you are the one to cause it!
