Based on the many great reviews we decided to stay for one night.

When we arrived it was clear to us that we would extend our stay for two nights. This place is by far the best that we have seen during our two months in New Zealand! Lovely hosts, great food (cookies, cakes and on Sunday's bread) and drinks, organic veggies (awesome price), clean facilities and the price was outstanding. We paid 32$/night for 2 adults for a powered site which was only 6$ more than a scenic DOC but there was a lot more to get. A great spot to relax from all the driving and definitely worth more than a quick stay for the night. Highly recommend this last light of New Zealand!
