I was travelling solo.

Ron and Karen went out of their way to match me up with other paddlers so that I could enjoy the Whanganui to the full. When I phoned them, I had very little idea of how the trip would materialise. A few days later they met me from the bus, drove me to their place, fed me, put me up, introduced me to my paddle buddies etc etc. The new boat shed and the new accommodation promise to be great additions to an already great venture.
