Haast Pass Lookout Track
Once arrived at the lookout post, the view over the pass was quite nice.
View was rather limited (you do not see the road and only a certain part of the Pass). Do note that the 20-30 minute hike up there is rather steep all the way up!

Mighty Campervans
Although the Mighty brand is not premium, they still charge enough rent.
Parts of the interior are broken besides the expected 'wear and tear'. Furthermore, had some funny smells and smoke coming from the engine. They could not find any cause.

3-4 hour hike to the bottom of the Franz Josef Glacier.
Perfect and affordable, alternative to the very expensive heli hikes. Professional guides and many information given! We would for sure recommend this.

Blue Pools Track
Walk towards the Blue Pools was nice despite the many sandflies.
However, in December, the pools are greenish and not blue. Furthermore, the pools are more half circles in the river edges.
