Our first Great Walk in New Zealand!
Challenging in two days. Very popular (access by boat) but we really enjoyed the landscape with the lake and the bush changing often. Much shade on sunny days!

Cape Kidnappers Walking Track
We expected a harder walkway.
You just walk along the beach so very easy. The rock is very beautiful and to get to the end of the cape is a very challenging walk. Be careful with the tide!

Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland
Impressive experience, the colours are very wonderful (better if you go on a sunny day).
It is a touristic place but the site merits the detour. It is very incredible. Do not miss the Lady Knox Geyser.
