Bridge to Nowhere Tours
First time on the Whanganui River on a Guided Canoe trip with Yeti Tours.
Wow, what can I say. An amazing experience, incredible guide, beautiful scenery, amazing walk to the bridge to nowhere and then the rain came down. Met Joe from the Lodge on the river and to discribe him as a 'character' would be mild. A generous, hospitable host whose accomodation and family were delightful. Not sure about the possum! I highly recommend the 'Bridge to Nowhere Lodge'

Yeti Canoe Tours
First time on the Whanganui River and first time in a Canoe.
Wow. The guided trip was amazing as the guide covered all the history, the features, the stories and the Maori cuture associated with the river. We were lucky enough to have Grant as our guide and between his cooking skills and his naration we were left wanting for nothing. Even one day of rain did nothing to disolve the charm and pleasure of this trip. Highly recommend Yeti Tours and their professionalism.
