I've lived in New Zealand with my partner for coming up to 5 years now and this was one of the very best tourist experiences I've had while I've been here.

Barbara was a great guide, friendly, down to earth with great local knowledge and enthusiasm for the Coromandel landscape, people and history. We had an absolutely stunning day, with amazing weather - you can't order a day like that; it just happens. The drive up took us to places we'd never get to in our own car or in a hire car. The coastal walkway itself was magnificent - through farmland and bush, with wonderful views up and down the coastline and out to Great Barrier Island. Not too rushed and not too difficult but we really felt we'd been somewhere we couldn't get to ourselves. Then to be met with afternoon tea and a safe efficient drive back, with enough photo stops - great value and a great experience.
