These thermal pools are great value for money.
We went to others which were nearly double the price but these were far more superior and in a more tranquil setting. Highly recommend!

Wairere Falls Track
Worth the trek to the top as the view is absolutely stunning!
The only negative is that at one point on the trail the signs are unclear and we ended up veering off onto another much longer trail along with another couple who had also made the same mistake a few minutes earlier.

Rings Scenic Tours
If you're a Lord of the Rings or Hobbit fan then this is an absolute must!
We had a great tour guide and it was a nice sunny day. To finish it off we got to have the best pie and ale in the green dragon pub! One of the highlights of our time in New Zealand!

Huka Falls Walk
We stopped here on our way passing through and are glad that we did!
For just a quick 10 minute walk you can be at the bottom of the waterfall admiring the full force of the falls. We didn't do it but there are also boat trips that speed towards the bottom of the falls, looked fun!
