Outdoor pools AUTHENTIC hot pools. Not chlorinated but real natural springs. Japanese bath house a lovely bonus.

Strict rules which made us feel a little uncomfortable. Aside from walking on eggshells the place was fine.

Very relaxed and friendly holiday park with powerful, hot showers.
Easy walk to gorgeous beach with few sandflies. Easy going host. Kitchen / living area is an old house so facilities are homely.

Fox Glacier / Te Ara o Tuawe Walk
Lots of the track was washed out, but we managed to get to the foot of the glacier.
It is now recommended only to do guided tours top here which makes it expensive. We did it on our own and enjoyed it.
