Great Lake Taupo Holiday Park
Very basic and rugged.
The woman who runs the place is somewhat helpful. The first night out power did not work and our food nearly spoiled in our camper van fridge. Everything else worked well but the bathroom was full of giant bugs at night. Pretty expensive considering what you get if you stay at taupo top 10.
Thanks for your review Jake Bell! Unfortunately that evening we had a local hatching of flying beetles invade the entire park and the entire local area, something completely out of our control, we did however address the situation as soon as we became aware of it the next morning. Mother Nature has a lot to answer for sometimes!

Blue Lake TOP 10 Holiday Park
The amenities were scare, hundreds of people staying in the campground with very small kitchen, bath and laundry facilities.
The cleaning staff was very rude
We had to dry our clothes at 1am because people were literally arguing over who would use the dryers. Cleaners did not stick to the posted schedules. Also the most expensive if the 4 top 10 sites we stayed and by far the worst.

Good location, good bath facilities and amenities.
Great hike from the site to a nice park. Julie who worked in reception was super friendly and told us about a bunch of great spots for hiking and photography.

Taupo Tandem Skydiving
Free wifi and a nice area to hang out while you wait to take off.
Very friendly and fun staff. You don't meet your tandem master until you are basically in the plans which is a bit nerve-racking. You suck on plane fumes for a while if you sit in the back of the plane. Peter was my tandem master and he was great. Once in a lifetime experience.

Kaitiaki Adventures Rafting and Sledging
G was our sledging guide and Gordy was our rafting guide.
We were picked up and dropped off as part of our activity which was very convenient. Both our guides were great and my girlfriend and I had a great time. The equipment was in good shape and safety was definitely a priority. I would recommend Kaitiaki for anyone who enjoys rafting or sledging, especially Gordy and G! -Jake

Go Fish Taupo Regional Guides
My girlfriend and I went on two fishing trips with Adam.
She had never touched a fly rod and took home a 3 pound rainbow and we are it for dinner. Adam is a great teacher and a fun guy to fish with. Highly recommended.
