Hahei Beach Resort
After finding no free campsites we reluctantly stayed at the holiday park.
Fee were way overpriced ($40 for a campsite) with no perks or beautiful views.
We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience. We feel that Hahei Holiday Resort is priced appropriately for the region and is on par with other camp grounds around. Our campers do have access to free hot showers and affordable WI-FI, and we do have sites with Sea Views.
Basic Campervans/Vans are not permitted to Freedom Camp on the Coromandel peninsular. One could take this as an opportunity to treat yourselves to a hot shower, internet, TV room and large kitchen.
