I never actually stayed at this property because the Lindis Pass was officially closed due to snow.

I contacted the accommodation while stranded after several hours of driving. They advised me to stay where I was for safety. Acting on that advice, I arranged another place to stay rather than waiting indefinitely in freezing conditions.

When the road reopened later that day, the property refused any refund.

Everyone is entitled to follow their cancellation policy, but I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and understanding given the circumstances. I hope future travellers facing unexpected road closures receive more consideration.
