Tongaporutu (The Three Sisters)- Overnight Campervan Parking
Decent little spot near three sisters/elephant rock, long drop toilets, plenty of parking, make sure to have food, drinks etc with you as no shops close by.
No pottable water or dump station but we just made sure to sort that out before we came 😀

Hipapatua / Reid's Farm Recreation Reserve Free Campsite
Perfect location, just outta town but not too far, close to Huka Falls, decent amount of parking, toilets nearby and a waikato river to dip in next to the site but be warned its pretty cold.
We stayed 2 nights. If you’re prone to bites i’d get some bug spray for the sandflies/mosquitos! 😊

Great place to park, very spacious, long drop toilets but they were well maintained and cleaned, drops cold on an evening/early morning cause of being so high so may need an extra layer or 2 but not unmanagable
to sleep 😁
