Awesome views at this spot!
A little expensive for the basic services only a toilet and non potable water. The price has gone up to $18 pp. Beautiful coastal walk to explore the area and the WW2 battery site was super cool! When you make the reservation online they will send you an email with the code for the gate, can’t get into the campsite without it!

Such a nice campground worth it to drive a little off the highway to get a more peaceful atmosphere.
So many birds chirping and lovely grassy sites. Camp host was so nice when we arrived and helped us pick out a spot that was best for us ( because it wasn’t too busy). There’s a kitchen facility and flush toilets, free showers, laundry available for 3$. The prices have gone up since the site was last reviewed it was $20 pp for a non powered site and I think I saw $23 for power. Obviously it’s a bit more expensive for a DOC site but has a lot more services than the typical DOC site and we thought it was worth it! Follow the Google Maps link and not the Apple Maps one. The Apple Maps link didn’t quite go far enough down peel forest road to the campground.

Awesome big grassy area with lots of room for many campers.
There is a lot of uneven ground but it’s not hard to find a flat spot. Right on the ocean front, clean toilets. Beautiful sunset, worth a stay!

Perfect little spot right on the water.
Only two spots available for overnight camping with faded green markings. There is a flushing clean toilet open all night. Beautiful walking path right on the water in front. Spots were taken early!
