Frequently this dump station is abused by campers using it incorrectly.
Do not flush wet wipes into your camping toilet, they clog up the dump stations and make it horrendous for those that follow you, or worse than horrendous for those that have to sort it out.
Most dump stations work best if you use the upright spout to direct the outflow pipe of your cassette. If for some reason you prefer to use the drain, remove the grill first - normally there's a little tie wrap handle to pick it up by.
Do not dump anything but effluent (poop, wee, paper, and grey water) into the dump. Other trash (sanitary products, wet wipes, rubber gloves, food waste) all go into a trash can and cannot be disposed of at a transfer station.
Once you have emptied your tanks, use the tap and hose to rinse and clean up the dump station. Replace the grill if you moved it, and close the lid.
