Wouldn't recommend if you need to use the facilities.

The showers, when they work, cost 50c per 6 minutes. However they go freezing cold or really hot when people flush the chain or run the taps. They stop completely when someone uses the kitchen tap.

The dryer costs $8 to dry your clothes.

The kitchen is very basic. The toaster needs replacing, there is one stove and only two sinks so expect queues.

The campsite is old and run down.

We were disappointed as the rest of our South Island holiday was amazing.

These are beautiful grounds, the facilities were immaculate and there is so much to do.

The hosts were friendly and it was a great place to stay.
