North Island ▷ Ruapehu ▷ Tongariro / National Park Village ▷
Its also a Great Walk.
This walk is so different from all the others, because of the volcanic formations and without the normal greeen. The only thing I didn't like were the many people on this track.
South Island ▷ Nelson Region ▷ Abel Tasman ▷
We booked a 2 day kayaking tour in the Abel Tasman National Park.
It was amazing and a great experience without a guide.
North Island ▷ Wairarapa ▷ Ngawi ▷
I made a 2 hours walk to the Pinnacles and these strange stone formations really fascintaed me.
The Pinnacles are a Lord of the Rings set. It was great to visit the Dimholet Road.
North Island ▷ Bay of Plenty ▷ Waihi ▷
A very nice Top10.
Everything was clean, there was a pool, a good kitchen and a nice living room. But it was not the cheapest campground.
North Island ▷ Wellington Region ▷ Hutt Valley ▷
The park near Wellington is very beautiful and you can do a lot of nice longer or shorter walks there.
The campground had everything we needed and was clean. Only $5.
South Island ▷ Nelson Region ▷ Golden Bay ▷
The best place I ever been and there had been a lot in NZ.
North Island ▷ Taranaki ▷ Mt Taranaki ▷
My favourite track.
The nature is wonderful, you have so many changes on the track and there not so many people on the track. The huts also were very nice.
