Rakaia Gorge Camping Ground
The gorge and this site looked amazing but it is currently closed to travelling campervans to protect the elderly regulars from the Corona virus.
Sadly we had to move on.

Lowburn Harbour
Huge open, level, hard gravel site by a lake.
VERY windy when we were there so dust everywhere. Room for loads of Van's with no overcrowding. Basic toilets, take a torch at night! Surprisingly there was wifi. There's prettier sites to be found.

Glencoe Campsite
Absolute gem!
Very well kept grass site surrounded by varied trees and wildlife. Lovely river walk close by. Excellently maintained long-drop toilets, wash up area and lots of benches.
