Cost $45 for a powered site and two of us, the showers cost $2 for 5 minutes.
When I tried to use it the hot water wasn’t working so had to get a member of staff to help, not a very nice shower either lots of empty bottles and blocked drain.
However managed to charge everything and refill van with water. Countdown is across the road which was handy as well. But all in all was expensive for not a lot.

We went here before trying the marina bay a little down the road, the area was nice but it was just a car park.
Public toilets were clean however and the bay was nice.

Easy place to find, right on the main road however and has two portaloos which a lot of people stopped to use in the morning making the area seem a lot less private.
However one of the homes near by had a dog that came and said good morning which was lovely.

Is unfortunate closed on sundays and Mondays - unsure if this is common knowledge but caught us out!

Area was lovely, not much going on but the bathrooms were clean and the sea was lovely for a walk along.
Was also not especially noisy in the morning.

Area was quite nice, but the lake near by wasn’t really worth the walk to go and look at, there’s also a small butchery/dairy near by and the toilets were a bit cold but clean and had toilet seats.
Very nice for free camping

Lovely spot but the toilets close in the evening so not suitable for non self contained!!!
Very annoying!! Also the parking is at a slight hill so might be a wonky nights sleep

Was a really nice place to stay, the beach is really clean and nice with good surfing (no board hire) toilets were clean and spacious.
The stars were absolutely amazing at night and the whole area seemed safe and peaceful.
Only issues were that it was down a long unpaved track, which our camper didn’t love. It was also a bit of a pain to pay to stay there as you have to log in online to get a code to the gate. Said it was $10 each but a lady next to us said the minimum for a camper was $20 even if it’s just one of you which is quite expensive for what you’re getting.
