Perfect! Lots to watch - boats & jetskis heading in & out over the bar. Floating pontoon just behind the park, safe lagoon swimming on one side & the glorious ocean on the other. Beautiful big pine trees giving you shade & if you're lucky (like I was) uninterrupted views of the coast & islands. Tarseal but hey ho hard to beat!

I can agree with that. One of the best camping sites we have been at, so far. There are clean public toilets 24/7. What I liked most: big trees and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean.

This may be my favorite campsite in all of New Zealand. No, it definitely is.

Premium location under big trees but still on the tarseal. Coin operated BBQ's, picinic tables, surf breaks.....very civilised living. Surrounded by holiday homes so likely a busy spot in summer
