A small and family orientated aquarium. A little bit expensive in my opinion. Shark tunnel is an awesome highlight.
Nice place but a little expensive ($36 per person) and the visit is too short. The free shuttle between the CBD and the aquarium is a good idea.
Very interesting information and well worth a visit.
Shark Swim. Place is a little run down. Felt like it was more of a shark paddle - not quite adventurous enough. Staff were fantastic though!
Very interesting well laid out, but expensive for what it is.
A little aquarium for the big city.
Nice place to go to and good for childeren.
Location is great.

Too short, more tailored for children but recommend the walk to Mission Bay.

Very nice aquarium. I felt a little pity for the penguins, prefer to see them in real life!! Good transport from city to the aquarium.

Beautiful underwater world encounter - bit pricey for the experience, but worth it. Probably not cheap to keep it running.
way to expensive for what it is...
highlight of my fiancee's life and holiday:swimming with the sharks in the shark tank. 100% recommended. A must for anybody that goes to Kelly Tarlton's.
We recently went to Kelly Tarltons, We had an enjoyable time, going on the train to see the Gentoo and King penguins twice. Walking around the fish tanks was lovely, so many different species to look at. We didn't see many staff, so were mostly unable to ask any questions. I found the price a little expensive, but we did enjoy our time there.
Ridiculous prices for little to see. Overcrowded.
Access savings worth hundreds of $$ on Top Ranked NZ Accommodation and Activities for just $1 per day.
We would not have gone here without a kid.
Great fish and photo opportunities.
Interesting, not to spend more than 1/2 day and that can be too much.
The main attractions are the stingray tank, the penguin train, and the underwater walkway. There are better aquarium out there. the stingray tank and the walkway is nothing to speak of, the king penguin encounter is decent, but you are sitting in a closed window train, and the train moved continuously.

WOW! AN AMZING ENCOUNTER! great food at the restaurant! definitely a must see!
Very impressive and good price

Very nice, especially the penguin babies and ugly and beautiful fishes.
Friendly people and lots of penguins.
Not really worth it in my opinion. There are better aquariums out there, and the penguin ride is a bit useless, the penguins are too far away. Seems it is mostly just a place for bored mums to take noisy kids to on rainy days.
Very nice underwater world. Ask for information guide in your language.
Excellent and good value. Just avoid public holidays unless you like screaming kids.
Very good day out.
A great sea life 'zoo'. Interesting to watch the feedings and amazing underwater walk.
WOW - it was really interesting looking at all the animals.
Neat place - a little expensive though!
A little overpriced but worth the money.
Really liked the penguins!
A real fish bowl.
Cost alot for two adult and a child too short

Nice for little children. Not very special.
Liked this very much.
$30. Very small and you do not actually see much.
Too small but great penguins.
Nice set-up. Good info. Great to see the stingrays. Bad parking though.
