Mercer Bay is the best place to see the sunset from the west side of New Zealand, tracks are easy and beautiful.
We drove to Mercer Bay by car and luckily the weather was clear and we enjoyed a spontaneous sky full of stars.

Very nice and short walk.
The loop itself is 45 minutes long but you can walk along the coast if the walk is too short for you.
