Great walk, largely unpopulated, managed to go swimming on the most beautiful beach without disturbing anyone. Nothing too strenuous.

Beautiful walk with few people around. Lots of beaches to relax. We had to swim a part of the track because of high tide.

We scored excellent weather on our walk. The beaches were truly golden and people few. Had an awesome day meandering by the sea and watching the day go by.

Day walk from Totaranui via Gibbs Hill and coast track back. Partly quite exhausting but very stunning. Separation Point is absolutely awesome.

This is a great stretch of the track with non-stop views and less crowds than Marahau.

Really enjoyed this long, varied walk. Got the height climb over early (Gibbs Hill) with few views, then glorious views. History at the hut. Beach then seals at Separation Point, then more beaches to swim from before wading the river at the end. Recommend for a good workout, bush and beach.

Bring your camping stove and have a luxury coffee break at the tip of the park, watching seals and the ocean.
