We were recommended some campsites and also what to look at (victorian buildings) and maps.
Best postcards so far.
Despite lots of people in there we were helped quickly and given good information for activities and campgrounds. Even those campgrounds out of town.
Very friendly and knowledgeable.
Thank You - to the thousands of travellers that have contributed to our Top Voted NZ Activities Map - it's free from Rankers.

Free movie about the area. They were very friendly & provided plenty of maps and information of the surrounding area.
Very nice team, they give you a lot of tips and a spot where you can freedom camp. There is a little movie about the city history. Free internet.
Very poor. Initially were more interested in talking to each other than assist a customer. Then provided information that was wrong, ie tours and opening times. Seems they need to check their facts before making statements that are factually incorrect.
Friendly service, extensive material.
All very good and friendly.
