Waitomo's official i-SITE provides a comprehensive, impartial information and booking service for Waitomo Caves and New Zealand for accommodation, activities, attractions and travel bookings.

Waitomo is an amazing place to explore and has lured tourists from around the globe for over 120 years. Hundreds of caves perforate the region's limestone landscape, and at Waitomo Caves there are plenty of opportunities to delve underground, either on a dry walking tour or a wet, adrenaline-charged subterranean adventure.

With so many tours, staff help match your requirements to the experiences available. We can put YOU in a picture that might include: gliding by boat under glowworms; a 100m abseil; laughing with Billy Black; watching rabbit shearing; quad biking; visit to the Waitomo Caves Discovery Centre; staying in a hobbit hole; going on one of the best short walks in the country; or visiting a renowned waterfall.

The Waitomo i-SITE is your ‘one stop information and booking shop’ for all activities whether above or below ground.

Whatever you’re after, drop in today and ask our friendly team of local travel experts.

Very unhelpful staff!! I asked to use the WiFi or phone cause I lost my handbag (which means no purse and no money) all she said was how much it cost... Well thanks for the help...not!! Hope she never gets stuck and needs help! People who enjoy helping others should be working in i-Sites not miserable people!
