Our HiAce vans feature everything you’d expect from a well designed camper, and then a little bit more....
There’s a kitchen including gas stove & grill, fridge and sink with running water. Very importantly there’s enough space and height to cook indoors whilst standing up (unlike some campers out there). There’s also a spacious living / dining space with two sofas and a removable table. These easily turn into a comfortable queen size bed by night.
All our vans are certified SELF CONTAINED, giving you access to lots of beautiful freedom camping spots around NZ. We can also give you some advice on our favourite spots (don't forget to download the Rankers Camping NZ app - it's great!)
We’ve chosen vans with masses of storage for all the toys you might bring with you to use in NZ. Our unique surfer-friendly setup means you can securely store up to 5 boards (including 2 longboards / Malibu boards) within the van. We offer bikes & bike racks too. Planning to hike, bike, snowboard or kitesurf? Your gear can be easily stashed, out of your way, and then brought out when it’s time to play.
We’ve fitted quality stereos in our vans, and better speakers. Our Stereos have an Aux-in (for your MP3 player), USB-in and a CD player that plays mp3 & wma as well as standard CDs, meaning you can bring your choice of tunes with you on the road. We’ve also fitted 4 USB charging sockets (2 in the front & 2 in the back) so you can keep your phone / camera / music machine full of charge without having to find a power socket.
You get all of this in a van that fits in a normal size parking space… brilliant!
