When eventually we made it to the parking lot where we could stay with our camper for the night, it was a great spot looking out at the sea, but - it was soooo complicated to book ahead and to pay as we had to do it on the phone while driving, and when we got there, we had problems getting the code that would let us pass into the area. And - all this done we still had a visit from a guard late at night who wanted to know whether we had permission to be there. He was an Indian guy studying in New Zealand, very talkative and nice enough, but still - we had two children with us and they were quite uncomfortable about the situation.

Absolutely fabulous beach side camping spot. Regretfully they no longer allow motorhomes on the beachside, However there are a couple of designated spots that you can camp in, along with the sea view camp site which does not have a sea view and is up the hill a way from the beach. Self contained motorhomes are able to stay in the car park which is handy to the beach. For tent options its awesome. Safe tidal beach, great for fishing and there are a number of walks through the farm park that this camp is in. Not that cheap for only vaulted toilets and a water supply.
