Information

The OGO is a 3m transparent sphere constructed from over 100m2 of plastic, more than 1,000 little plastic anchors, about 600 multi-coloured strings glueing and tieing to make a beautiful big ball that you can jump inside and roll down a hill.

As the inventors of this iconic adventure experience, at OGO Rotorua, visitors are offered multiple OGO ride options where we add 40 litres of water; (cool in summer, warm in winter). Choose from the side by side H2OGO Straight Tracks which start from 250m up the hill and race one another downhill. From here, you Superman-dive into the OGO on your own, or have one, two or three friends in there together. H2OGO Sidewinder Track is the world’s longest at 350 metres, with 6 massive corners that send you in a different directions as you zig zag your way down the hill in a wash of water in the mixed up craziness. Not into getting wet? Then take on our 200m OGO Harness Ride, where you are strapped in one person at a time and spin head over heels down our scenic track. All visitors to OGO are rewarded with spectacular views over Lake Rotorua and Mokoia Island.

Fun activity, but too short for the amount of money spent. I am glad I tried it once, but will not go again.

Good fun, would be better if it lasted longer. Really nice facilities, especially the hot tub.

Amazing loved every second (even though it was pouring with rain)
This was on my list of things to do before I die and it was well worth it.
My boyfriend and I were so impressed that we are investigating if we could start an Ogo business where we live at home.
