Set on 6 landscaped acres this fabulous Holiday Park offers spacious, level, powered sites and and un-powered sites for motorhomes, caravans and tents.
With accommodation for all types of travellers we offer peaceful relaxation. Accommodation options are in 11 quirky, up-cycled and converted shipping containers, or as we like to call them Apartment Pods or Sleeping Pods.

Nice and absolutely new holiday park directly at the beach. Very clean and calm. Stylish cabins. Some unpowered sites with stunning sea and sunset view. Unfortunately no sign post on the highway – so checking the location map was necessary to find the park.

Quite a interesting camping.
Taking a shower or cooking in a cargo container is a funny experience.
All the facilities are new and clean.
Easy acces to the beach.

Came across by chance, stunningly beautiful caravan park, legitimately right on the beach. Amenities are well equipped and brand new. Very yy friendly owners, would happily travel to stay again for more than just one night.

Avoid Camping Fines!
The only camping map where each location is approved by every regional council in NZ. So if it shows on the map, you’re allowed to stay.

LoveD our stay here. We were going to stay in Franz Josef but places looked cramped... so glad we jept going. Friendly greeting from staff and amazing views on the beach... esp sunset!!!! Great idea repurposing shipping crates; well designed and all fronted with glass. Not overly keen on the frosted glass wall on the shower toilet block as you can see people dressing when the lights are on. The powered sites were wonderfully large private flat areas surrounded on three sides by NZ flax? The powered sites back up against a road which the locals use at the end of the day to access the beach and walk their dogs but we were not disturbed. If you are visiting the West side of NZ you should definitely stay here! Worth every cent!!!! And then head into Ross and meet the amazing people at the Heritage site. LOVE THIS TOWN!!!!

Stumbled across this place when we were delayed on our drive South. Cheap for camping. Grassy area surrounded by plants for privacy. Funky shipping container cabins for those with a bigger budget. Friendly owner!

A great new campsite near to the beach. Very clean, modern, and peaceful... a very good place... not 10 just because of just one washing machine for all the camp...

I can’t even with how awesome this place is. It is very new which is great. The layout of the camp is very purposeful. The kitchen, laundry and showers are central and the accommodations move out from there. Tenting is in a grassy sheltered area. The non powered caravan sites are all ocean side. The powered sites are along one side. The super rad converted shipping container cabins are spread about. The attention to detail from the hooks in the shower rooms to the organization of the dual kitchen space to the landscaping is so lovely. The beach is RIGHT THERE. The white beach is divine and swimming was fun and safe. We saw the best sunset of our lives here. The owners are friendly and welcoming. I would spend a week here if I could. The place is 15/10. Thank you to the owners for creating such a lovely place!

The most beautiful campingsite we‘ve been soo far.
It opened in October 2017 so all the facilities are brand new. The kitchen is equipped with all the things you need.
We had a campervan without power or water need so we had a sleeping spot right on the beach with a beautiful view over the ocean!
This is a must-place to be in NZ!
