Really nice area to bike around and both the wineries and their wines are beautiful. Hiring the bikes was completely overpriced and got nothing but the bikes. Most wineries charged for tasting.

Best way of visiting wineries in Hastings. Very friendly people all along the route (map given when you start the tour!). Easy and secure access between wineries (bike trail). Make sure you start early and bring water and sunscreen!

A great fun way of visiting the wineries in the Hastings area. The guy was super friendly , gave us a great little map as well as lots of tips. Very comfortable bikes. A bit pricey but worth it.

Fantastic tours of some of the best New Zealand has to offer. I enjoyed the unique experience I don't see often which makes On Yer Bike Winery Tours such as gem. I highly recommend to both local and foreigners who like a down to earth experience with warm hospitality and support.

Good company to go with - they have decent bikes and helmets, give you a great packed lunch and it is a fantastic way to see the wineries. 7 out of 9 visited in a day - try for 9. Company could improve by providing pick-up from local accommodation (even at nominal fee) as taxis are $35 per trip.

Great wineries nearby and excellent to visit by bike. Excellent packed lunch provided to soak up the wine.

Bikes not very well maintained, however.

Asked on the telephone whether they would provide a pick-up and drop off service so that we could taste wine without worrying about having to drive back to Havelock North and was given a lecture - "this is wine tasting not wine drinking" (to me this is the same thing as it is especially difficult to judge measures/ quantities when tasting). A simple no would've sufficed...

All in all a good experience & worth doing.

Great initiative to visit wineries by bike! Good bikes, very good picnic box. Also very well organised and it is safer to taste (and mostly drink) wine while driving a bike than a car.

Bikes not well maintained - perhaps should have been hybrids. Map not v. easy to follow. Wine was superb plus they accommodated us at the last minute. Fab day out.

On Yer Bike - Winery tours responds:

Hi Kathryn.
I think you may have us confused with On Yer Bike winery tours in the North Island.
We do quad bike and go-kart tours and we dont supply wine on our tours!!
