Nice views from One Tree Hill and Mount Eden, but several parts of the walk are quite boring - e.g the school campus.

The walk is heavily suburban with very little scenery. First scenic point is One Tree Hill Tourists would be best driving here to begin.

In a boring city it is nice to go out of the central area and see the whole place. This walk made me like Auckland a little more.

We walked from Mount Eden to One Tree Hill, the signs for the walkway are not so clear, had to use our phone to find the way. Great lookout at the Mountain.

I liked the scenery from Mt Eden and One Tree Hill. The people do not know this walkway is here so you have to find the way yourself.

Easy walk through native forest, with good information on flora and fauna to be seen. About one hour drive from Auckland CBD.

Need a leaflet for I-site for this 16km walk - goes from harbour to harbour and takes in many sites plus two volcanic cones - lots of history/natural history plus views from Mount Eden.
