A great tramp - first up to the lookout, which is quite a steep climb, and then on down to the tunnel.
Torch essential as are good tramping boots/shoes as rather wet and muddy. Mind your head! Returning via the water race is quite interesting.

I could walk to Mount Hihi also, the view from there was awesome.
