Lovely, right on the beach but not too exposed. Nice toilets and close playground. Plenty of space and quiet.

Great spot! Right on the beach! Beautiful open skies full of stars at night and can defiantly rate the fish and chip shop near by! Will be back for sure!

One of the best campsites I've stayed at. Insanely beautiful views with amazing stars at night. South camping site was a little less busy and had grass patch to my self.

Really nice spot. I stayed at the southern end which was much quieter. You must bring a loo or anticipate a short trek to the public toilet.

You need a GDC freedom camping permit to camp here. There are sites in the centre of town by the public toilets, right on the beach. We went a little further down the road and found a beautiful freedom camping site in a very quiet area. Nothing beats falling asleep and waking to the waves right on the lovely beach to walk on. No toilets.

This is not 1 site but 3 separate sites that are run by the council for self contained campers. Very cheap, permits can be picked up from a variety of locations. The northern site has toilets, but is closer to the road/skate park. The other 2 towards the southern end of the bay have no facilities but are quieter
