Great view and pretty but didnt think it was worth $23 for the night for two people. Only one toilet and no other facilities we got in late so didn’t go and register but the Ranger come and saw us and took our money. Maybe we got charged more because we didn’t register I guess. Not a great way to treat travellers. Lesson learnt make sure you register and if too late don’t bother stopping. For another $15 could have got a powered site with a shower!

Lovely campsite. Meet some nice friendly campers and had a great time. Super clean toilets. We were able to use the showers at the main camp in Goose Bay and have to say they would have to be the cleanest showers I’ve ever come across in my camping time. 10 out of 10. Cheers.

Stayed here as near SH1 and convenient but what a find.
We were initially concerned due to proximity of the main road but after dark and before 8am it was deathly quiet. The toilet and outside cleanup sink were clean and all we needed.
We spent the evening collecting shells and watching the seabirds fish among the rocks and dodging the basking fur seals. In the morning we watched white sided dolphins broaching and jumping just offshore, fabulous. Funny thing was seeing the dolphin watching boats arrive in the bay and they stopped performing!
Only downside was the midges (sandflies) as we got a few bites.
My absolute favourite spot to park my motor home for the weekend to relax, on a clear day it is an amazing place to climb over the rocks and go for a dive/snorkel. A few times I have woken here to a beautiful sunrise with dolphins playing not far from the shore. Bliss :)
A little confused about where to sign up - basically you go to the main campsite and they direct you to where you can camp, they have a few sites along here. We stayed at this one as had to be up early for whale watching and it was closest to town. Awesome spot, toilet was in a little tin shed and I was impressed, cleanest we have had and flushable. You can use showers etc at Goose Campground as well if you want. The road noise didn't bother us. It might if you have a tent but the views far outweighed any noise. We had seals literally metres away from us! Pretty cool and the moonlit sea and sunrise were amazing too!!! Don't stay in town stay here, cheaper and waaayyy better.

Sites are spacious. Basic toilets and sinks next to sites. My only complaint was the location of the sites which was right next to a busy highway. Traffic continued all night. Went over to the main site in the morning to use the showers, which was nice.
Very basic camping site with closed toilets on the beach. Only shared with 2 other campers and some seals. Showers and toilets are on the main camping site. Worth the cost.
Nice place but quite costly if you don't want to use the camping facilities. You can not self register so you need to drive to the Goose Bay Camp
