Stayed for one night and absolutely loved this place, the noise from the trains and trucks didn’t bother us, Toilets were clean, woke up early to the most amazing sunrise and beautiful calm sea.
Checked in late the lady at the office was just so lovely and helpful.

Spectacular site but SO NOISY. Cars and two trains disturbed our sleep even with earplugs. Did see seals and dolphins.

Friendly staff. Amazing views out to sea with lots of bird life. Needed earplugs due to close proximity of the road but wouldn't put us off staying again. $20 for 2 adults in a 7 metre long camper van.

Great view and pretty but didnt think it was worth $23 for the night for two people. Only one toilet and no other facilities we got in late so didn’t go and register but the Ranger come and saw us and took our money. Maybe we got charged more because we didn’t register I guess. Not a great way to treat travellers. Lesson learnt make sure you register and if too late don’t bother stopping. For another $15 could have got a powered site with a shower!

Lovely campsite. Meet some nice friendly campers and had a great time. Super clean toilets. We were able to use the showers at the main camp in Goose Bay and have to say they would have to be the cleanest showers I’ve ever come across in my camping time. 10 out of 10. Cheers.

Stayed here as near SH1 and convenient but what a find.
We were initially concerned due to proximity of the main road but after dark and before 8am it was deathly quiet. The toilet and outside cleanup sink were clean and all we needed.
We spent the evening collecting shells and watching the seabirds fish among the rocks and dodging the basking fur seals. In the morning we watched white sided dolphins broaching and jumping just offshore, fabulous. Funny thing was seeing the dolphin watching boats arrive in the bay and they stopped performing!
Only downside was the midges (sandflies) as we got a few bites.

My absolute favourite spot to park my motor home for the weekend to relax, on a clear day it is an amazing place to climb over the rocks and go for a dive/snorkel. A few times I have woken here to a beautiful sunrise with dolphins playing not far from the shore. Bliss :)
