The Kepler Track is another of Fiordland's iconic walks. A 60km round trip that takes 3-4 days but traveller feedback suggests that if you are fit it can be done in less. It involves a steep climb and fantastic alpine views on the tops. Enjoy.
If you are a bit worried about walking on your own, there are several guiding companies that offer great services.

Amazing when visibility is good!

Nice walk, a lot of it is in close rainforest though without any views. Quite steep, but worth every footstep when you reach the point where the treeline stops. No water (drinking) before Luxmore!
Only 12 kilometers with kids - easy - walk in the beech forest.
Nice track in the forest, not too many people-quiet, not so many lookouts.
Beautiful nature, good huts.
Start at Rainbow Reach and finish at the carpark. That was an amazing walk with amazing views.

Did it in 2 days instead of 4.
Its a long walk, we did it in 2 days, beautiful view.
We started at Rainbow Reach and walked to the Broadbay camp site. A bit boring, only bush. Second day walked on the ridge-great views, camped at Iris burn, Third day was the same as the first.
Awesome scenery. Great weather. Was annoying to check in the DOC Information Centre to get tickets, was not enough to print it out. Hut warden explained that procedure was necessary to get information about track weather. Yet I had been told nothing about track/weather, nor that gas stoves are on site. I carried all the stuff.

Good track, maybe last section a bit mountonous at the end. Iris Burn Hut a bit small.
Nice track, huts are really expensive, next time I should take a tent with me.
