It's a walk indeed. Very short bushwalk, nice big fall even after little rain, wide stoney river, blue glacierwater. Nice stack-some-stones stop on your way to real hikes/tramps. Not crowded but you sure aren't alone.

This walk takes you along an old mining/railroad track along beautiful West Coast river to some pretty impressive waterfalls. Great views, but not too strenuous.

Good short walk on west side of Haast Pass....nobody else was there, making it even better. You gotta walk over the cobbled rocks to see the blue of the Haast River right at the falls.
