This is a very easy accessible campsite just off the main road heading towards Wanaka, the views over the lake are awesome.
There are picnic tables, a shelter and a boat launching area as this is a good place for water sports.
You are allowed dogs here as long as they are kept under control at all times.
No fires permitted.

Great views and some cool spots tucked away for campervans and tents. Toilet facilities, sink, and sheltered area to cook. Windy at night but that kept the bugs away, we had a ton in the morning as soon as we left a door open. Gets crowded at night but stays very quiet. Great sunset and sunrise views.

Great site, plenty of room for tents. Beach close by and view is brilliant. Basic but clean toilet facilities. Also has a sheltered area for food prep and a sink area to wash up. Next to road for accessibility. Would recommend this campsite.
Is a very nice place at not to busy, would come again
Really nice campsite, best view on Wanaka lake, quiet and wild. The toilets are ok but the only sink is really small and no so practical. Be aware of the sandflies ! Ho, and the sunset is gorgeous !
The campsite is located on a small peninsula in lake Wanaka.
It has lots of niches to put your camper in and nice clean toilets. There is a small shelter for cooking.
Be prepared for lots of wind. Good side of that: no Sandflys!
All in all one of my favourite places so far.
The view is amazing! Really good spot, lots of space for campers and tents. Toilets, water cold and picnic area...i loved it!
Great spot, fantastic views and you can take some nice short walks around the place. Can be windy, but there's some spots behind bushes that shelter you from it.
Thanks to all the good people working for the NZ Department of Conservation - for all your hard work - making NZ more beautiful, accessable and healthy! Cheers 😍
