Great place to stay before heading to Milford Sounds. Great facilities, nice and clean. Make sure to sign up to their mailing list when booking on their website to get 10% off (we could use the code on a non-powered site).
Pros- Great location. Helpful staff, very clean. Hot pool was great but hard to book as always full.
Cons- didn’t have the kids activities on as listed on website. Powered camper site was very muddy. Most of the laundry was out of order
We had a great experience with this holiday park. The spaces are a bit tight, but that comes with the territory of staying so close to the central town. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and functional.
Seriously? Five star facilities? No pool, pay hot tub, no view, no space, no shade, and $48.00 no power!!!! Complete and total RIP off.
By far the best camp site we have been in South Island. New modern installations very clean, very cozy enviroment, ideal for kids ( they have a small playground and an amazing kid’s room with toys and table games where kids meet among them). There is a coffee machine in the reception so you get nice coffees. The people at the desk where exceptionally helpful and friendly. We were making time to head to the Doubtful sound cruise and we could check out at 11.00. Would definetely come back and reccomend .
Amazing holiday park! Highly recommend. Clean, friendly, great service, excellent amenities and a hot tub you can hire privately !!! The views are stunning and heaps to do with young kids - playground and games room. Wish we could stay longer
This was the best holiday park we stayed at. Friendly staff, great showers, great facilities. Would love to go back and stay there again.
Name changed to Gateway Te Anau (previously known as Top 10..)
Nice new facilities, great location and fantastic showers. Stayed at a powered site in a campervan and they have nice long freshwater hoses right there very convenient.
Really enjoyed staying here, one of the very best.
Facilities were very good - lovely kitchen and lounge.
It's a really shame that this was completely ruined by the appauling attitude of the lady the front desk in the morning. I did not appreciate the way I was spoken to at all and I will not be staying at a top 10 again.
Well it is a top facilitated holiday stay. We had a powered camper place and had access to a great kitchen, lounge with TV, comfortable furniture and well heated. Showers and laundry tops. But hey the price was tops too we paid for 2 people closed to $100. You should expect the WiFi to be tops too but after you checked a couple of emails you 250Mb free data is gone and you have to buy expensive upgrades. Come on.... For that kinda money taking into account for the cost of the mobile home I can get a much more comfortable B&B which usually includes unlimited WiFi. I find the place too expensive and with the limitations on the WiFi I feel a top rating is not justified.
2 nights with 2 kids powered site, heaps for them to do with a games room, bouncy pillow and small pirate ship play area. Great showers and kitchen, walk to town. 500mb wifi. No sandflys and cheaper than the other parks, although this is an expensive area $65/night
Used the showers and washer/dryers. WiFi was only available in the lounge. Good spot for the town. Near the road but no problem with noise.
