Creeksyde camp is a lovely combination of clean functional facilities, some quirkiness, a great Queenstown location. Some sites are beside a babling stream. Contact office for single person price.

Great location 5 minutes to edge of town and gondola and supermarket right next door, interesting and quirky artwork. We loved the steampunk BBQ area. Nice clean bathrooms. We tried out two kitchens in the 3 nights we stayed the one in the main area has no oven and only 2 sinks but the other one was bigger. Because of Covid the campground was only half full and very comfortable but I imagine when it’s full it’s a bit squished as sites are very close together. Just at present only every second space is occupied. There is no playground but kids borrowed a ball from reception and played in an area by the back kitchen that would normally have 3 campers parked up. Lots of trees and buildings are weirdly interesting.
Fantastic location as an easy walk to “get amongst it” in town. The park has lots of trees and quirky art work around the place. Super friendly staff. Very clean. Free showers. Filtered water. It had everything!
Nice place in a great location that’s only a short walk into downtown Queenstown. Friendly staff. Very clean bathrooms. We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it.
Nice, clean facilities within a short walk of CBD. Parking is expensive in Queenstown, so this is a nice alternative. Clean kitchen, toilets and showers. We had a powered site across from the kitchen- good location. Lots to do in Queenstown, so we stayed two nights. Easy access to all of the great adventure activities. I heard that if you sign up with the park, they will pick you up there.
Great facilities, super central and close to all the good bits.
Excellent camp site with facilities.
This place is the best holiday park which we stayed so far! The location is perfect, it’s very close to the town centre, supermarket and the start point of the Tiki Track and the Ben Lomond track. Clean bathrooms and kitchen, very large and warm common lounge, friendly and helpful stuff! We planned to stay two nights and ended up stayed five! Highly recommended!
Clean bathrooms with lovely hot showers and hot water out of taps. Close to town.
Kitchens had NOTHING in them. Had to use all equipment from my camper
Paid $50 for a powered site, considering it’s Queenstown I thought it was okay but still expensive and wouldn’t pay any more.
Location wise, this place was great in terms of walking into Queenstown.
Otherwise, pretty average. Wasn’t great being by the creek with a toddler, everything seemed quite dated and spaces are pretty tight. Price wasn’t to bad. Kitchen was a bit strange in terms of the two cookers are side by side so with two of us trying to cook we did a bit of elbow wrestling.
Otherwise perfectly usable if not massively child friendly.
Recommended to us and it was great. Boutique supermarket opposite and an easy stroll into town. Showers were great - unlimited hot water, good pressure and decent sized cubicles. Even have filtered water on site. Paid $50 for 2 adults on a powered site and got 500mb of internet with decent speed
We booked this place because it had solid reviews and seemed like it was right in the heart of Queenstown. We knew we would be spending most of our time in town and didn't need much, and this location fit the bill. The showers were clean (albeit a bit small) and our site was nicely sized (although most seemed a bit tight - to be expected given the location). If you're planning to do activities in Queenstown, this place can't be beat.
Very picturesque place with lovely view of the mountains. 5-10 mins walk into town. Toilets/showers very clean. Some campers were parked close together but we were lucky, our space wasn't too cramped. Wifi service but was limited.
Very welcoming team. Spotless facilities. A bit more expensive than the norm but then you are on the doorstep of town so you get what you pay for. We had two adjacent pitches as requested for our little convoy of two vans. Plenty of space. Site was fully booked by the time we arrived so glad we booked ahead online, which was v easy
This friendly Holiday Park is nicely divided into parcels and has many cozy pitches surrounded by lush greenery. The sanitary facilities are uniquely artistically designed. Located close to the center. You walk to the city center in just ten minutes.
They tout themselves as eco friendly, but don't even equip the kitchen sink with a plug. Not much water being wasted there then. It's all good having thatched roofs and funky features, but you need to provide facilities as well, I can say without doubt that the kitchen was the least equipped I have come across since I started travelling in NZ. Couldn't cram the vans together any tighter if they tried, and all for just $70 a night for a powered site. I know Queenstown has limited land and things are expensive, but couldn't help feel I was being completely ripped off.
This place is very unique and quirky. It’s pretty tight but the facilities are clean and the location is perfect.
Not very impressed by this place compared to other paid sites (and it was also our most expensive site on the trip). Slots are very closely nestled together and the marketed hot-tub is an old plastic bathtub with a motor in it (which by the way you pay 15NZD to use). Dump water station is good thought!
I know cities are more expensive. But 65 dollars per night for 1 person on an unpowered site! That is for this holiday park way too much. There are not enough showers or toilets. And it takes you more than the promised 5 minutes to get into town.
Super close to the city and facilities were great. Campervan sites super close together.
City centre site. A bit less space but hey it's a fab quirky site. Great facilities and close to everything. Check in great geared up for any campervan. One of my favourite sites.
Very expensive for what you get ($65NZ for two people on a powered site) but facilities are good and proximity to the town is great. Worth staying a night to get laundry done and have a hot shower. A&E
Excellent place to stay in your campervan while visiting Queenstown. Very querky place in terms of decorations, but done really well - loved it! Sites were small, but didn’t feel cramped at all even though the place was quite full. Established gardens helped provide privacy and a sense of space. Great facilities and an easy walk to town.
Queenstown isn’t particularly campervan friendly with its traffic and hills so this place is pretty good.
Spaces are a bit tight and there isn’t much space around the van or site to relax, but for an overnight in queenstown it’s in a great location and has great facilities.
$91 a night (off peak) for a powered site seems a little over the top. Great location though, very cleans and great facilities- would recommend if you don’t mind the high price.
We had a great time here. Some spaces are smaller than others, but we see that all the time. The bathrooms were very clean. We were lent a baby bath which is great. The blue kitchen has kids toys which is great.
Very close to luge
Very close to town
We stayed in a powered site for 2 nights, quite pricey for what it has to offer. The kitchen doesn't have utensils to cook with, just a cooker.
Weird people staying in the lodges but that's not the park's fault.
With what they charge they could do so much more!!
Great service, clean facilities and top location
Great location! Short walk to town and off the main roads. Quite cosy and tucked in close to each other but as expected with this sort of location. Very helpful staff. Had to pay for WiFi but facilities were good. Nice hot showers and laundry facilities. Recommend for Queenstown!
This is an experience, not just a campsite. The oosthaus is brilliant plus the facilities are great. Hot showers, nice sinks. Apart from the oosthaus there are plenty of other bathrooms around so not need to wait. We walked the entire site and we're surprised and delighted by the creativity. The kitchen we used was ok. The long bench table is too close to the stoves and we had lots of times getting bumped and in other people's way. Easy walk to town from here. A bit on the expensive side but ok as a one off on a trip.
For that price...come on...you can do better ! Spots are really small, and I’m sorry but having a hole to put your waste water hose on your site is the minimal required when you ask 60$ for the night !
If you're planning to stay there on a rainy day and you don't mind paying 65 Dollar for a campsite not bigger than your camper...go for it.
But if you want to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine forget it. There is no room for chairs between you and the campervan next to you.
If you park in town you've got more space.
This Caravan Park is a greedy overpriced ripoff. Definitely not worth the money at all.
What a disappointment.
We were surprised that the showers were free but then again you only get a measly 250MB free Wi-Fi.
Very nice place, kitchen, bbq, shower, toilets, you can book journeys at the office, staff was nice, close to central queenstown (10 min walk).
Try the Fergburger!!!
Great place, spent two nights near the little creek, quiet and amenities very clean, having bath mats was great
Excellent campground. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful facilities with good kitchen, clean showers and bathrooms. Loved the plumbing art all around the site. Sites a bit small but to be expected for city campground. We were able to walk everywhere in town from here so saved the parking hassle.
Place was one of the cleanest we saw. Nice large showers with hot water. 5 min from downtown. Professionally maintained. We were welcomed by 2 persons for the check-in.
BE CAREFUL TAKING CAMPERS INTO THIS TOWN!!!! Be aware of the camper only parking and just avoid driving in town all together, it's a nightmare.
This caravan park is a perfect spot in Queenstown city, only a short stumble home from the pub after a cheeky pit stop at ferg burger. Quite a tight park when it's gets busy but it's quiet and everyone's friendly. The facilities are nice and clean, bathrooms were an unexpected treat. Unlimited Wi-Fi for five bucks, small convience store across the road that makes a solid coffee, close to lot of queenstown attractions. Reccomend for all age groups and families. Cheers.

I agree it is expensive compared to the average paid campsite BUT, it’s Queenstown 5 mins walk to town, great facilities & some nice quirky features, staff very helpful, we arrived early & although the receptionist did mention this fact still went out of his way to get us a site so we could set up our camper & again very helpful with local info, I would definitely stay again just a bit price but there again so was Milford sound “location location “
Could be more generous with Wi-Fi, btw ferg burger is a bit of a hype but but good ingredients & we were lucky with the que so hey when in Rome do as the Romans do it’s really all part of the experience just like going on the sky Gondola & Luge etc

Place was very nice and confortable. Facilities incredible nice and cleaned. Were near of town center, just 10 minutes walking. Everything wonderful.
Absolutely 10 out of 10. Facilities, location and friendly helpful staff are all complemented by a very unique atmosphere and interesting grounds. Totally recommended and well worth the $65 a night for a powered site.
Lovely quirky smaller campsite. Facilities were good and the toilets and shower block was clean, the decoration was fabulous. Staff helpful and pleasant. Would stay again.
Excellent facilities with a fun and quirky touch everywhere.
Good showers and toiket.
Great kitchen and lounge.
The small river flowing through the camp is a nice touch.
An easy 10 for this place! Of course it was the most expensive one we had during our vacation but it is definitely worth every penny. The location is perfect, the site is small but enough to put out table and chairs. The kitchen clean, the bathroom perfect clean, as said the bath mats are a plus! And it is cleaned every few hours...where is that if you compare? And you can take your drinking water from a source for free. Excellent place! Not to forget the staff is very friendly and helpful with all kind of enquiries.
Hummm...what to say? We honestly don't mind paying a lot to stay near town BUT this really is a glorified carpark. There aren't any boundaries between the parking spots, so was only just enough grass between us and the huge camper next-door to put the chairs up. We were right next to the BBQ area so about 2 metres from a group playing games. One bathroom between lots of campers and the bathmat was completely sodden by morning. My advice, honestly, is have a drink downtown, grab a Ferg Burger and a few bottles and get to Moke Lake early instead!!!
Awesome quirky site. Owner has definitely added some interesting humorous and arty pieces to this site. Showers and amenities excellent, plenty to use, never a wait, all close by. Lovely hot showers. All very clean.
Stayed for 3 nights. Had one night in a motel as family joined us, which was clean and comfortable with supply of basics which was thoughtful. 2 nights in camper site was fab. Cute sociable plots, enough room for privacy too.
Staff were brilliant, so cheerful. One in particular, wish I’d noted her name. Mid-length blond hair, glasses, you know who you are!!!! So helpful and funny. Always made our day 🤗
Definitely recommend to stay. Close by to town. Just a 5min walk. We can’t wait to return.
Thank you for a fab stay

The location makes this campsite (and the price tag). Easy walking distance from town center, groceries right around the corner. Well maintained and clean bathroom and kitchen facilities, cute layout, nice staff, lots of inspiration for activities and hikes in the area and overall friendly vibe. Most expensive site we stayed at but also the most convenient one in terms of location and facilities so the price seemed fair to us.
Stayed two great nights here. Excellent staff, good facilities, cute setting next to a little stream. Kidlets loved the ducks and ducklings that kept visiting us. It is more expensive than other grounds and the sites are small BUT... you are staying right in Queenstown, within easy walking distance of the main street and lakefront! I believe Queenstown has some of the most expensive real estate in NZ? So given all this we thought the price was very reasonable and were pleasantly surprised with the nice and fairly private setting. My one complaint was the windows were wide open above the shower and couldn’t be closed-and there was snow on the ground outside. A bit chilly! Owners could easily fix this for cold weather. Would definitely stay there again.
Very quirky and lovely site, within easy walking distance of Queenstown. The pitches are a little tight but fine, we got to know our neighbours really well 😀. Free hot showers and never had to wait. Kitchen facilities great. This is a lovely little place with very friendly and helpful staff. We had a problem with a flight we had booked and the lady on reception sorted it out for us.
Awesome place, very green, well maintained, great dinning room with open fire, costs a bit but no more than everywhere else, your not squashed in like sardines either, walking distance to town, loved it!
We absolutely loved this place. Stayed two nights and then came back for more! Facilities are immaculate, staff are amazing, so close to town and grocery stores. Also a very quirky and interesting design throughout the park. Would absolutely recommend.
Convenient location, easy 5-10 minute walk to centre of town.
Environmentally friendly with all different bins and a water fountain with filtered water to fill up your water bottles.
The dumpstation was super convenient as it is just a drain you position your campervan over, no need to attach a hose, making it much faster and easier to empty your waste water.
The bathrooms were clean and unlimited hot water for showers which was heaven.
Very quirky and funky decòr around the holiday park which made it feel quite cute. Probably necessary as there are no views from the holiday park and it is very very small. The sites are extremely small and close together so zero privacy. Also a little difficult to manuveure a 7m motorhome around the tiny little roads in the holiday park.
A good spot to camp to go get out and see Queenstown though!
Amazing holiday park. Was definitely the nicest we've stayed at this far. Has multiple toilets and laundries around the park (although some are closed in quiet season). $5 for unlimited internet for 5 devices for a week (or is free if you book an activity through reception). We were parked right next to an outdoor kitchen, so we used this instead of the large indoor kitchen. The park is beautiful with many trees and heaps of unusual decorations. Good dunno station and each site has its own water hose. All very private and more like a park than a carpark. Staff very friendly and there is a cute little dog also. $55per night for 2 in a powered site. Filtered drinking water available from a tap in a well. Fantastic location for town and for gondola. We stayed 5 nights. Would recommend to anyone!
Great site close to town. All facilities at arms length away and very central to Campervan sites. Very helpful team with many tour offers and great suggestions :)
Nice place, stayed 2 nights in winter with a van.
Dinning place with sofas, heaters, kitchen.. bathroom with 1 tube for both hot an cold water. Everything very clean. Powerful heardryer in womens bathroom.
Excellent van park. Great clean facilities, Friendly staff. Short easy walk to town. Worth going for a walk around the park to see there different decorating.
Super close to town. Everything is within walk ok ng distance, just beware, the streets in Queenstown are like San Francisco, straight up and down. Your legs get tired pretty quickly. No views from the campervan park but it was an awesome area. We did not use the showers or the kitchen so no comment there.
Best van park of them all so far in our trip. Clean, friendly helpful staff, quiet, great amenities in many places over the park. Quirky artworks, warm kitchens with great facilities. Walking distance to town and shops. Can’t fault Creeksyde - you get what you pay for and it’s worth it.
Very friendly staff, excellent facilities, perfect location.
Great little spot! Pleasantly surprised. Walking distance to downtown. Way the grounds are set up makes little areas of sites feel private. Nice facilities and eclectic decorations make it feel nicer.
Yes it’s crazy overpriced but that’s how it is I’m afraid when you wanna camp in Queenstown! Even though we payed a lot it was a nice campground with good clean facilities. No extra costs for hot water and it was styled nicely. Would stay again.
Well equipped holiday park, feels like home. Good and cozy facilities. A bit pricey, but similar to the other holiday parks in the neighborhood. Only minus is that the laundry machines operate cold only (how can you wash dirty stinky towels cold???) (I know that Lakeview is also cold wash only)
Queenstown Holiday Park & Motels Creeksyde is open for business… Visit Website …now's your chance to take a closer look.
‘Fun’ky decor was just right for Queenstown. Staff was enthusiastic and so knowledgeable and helpful with tours and attractions. Bathrooms were clean but walkways and drives needed more attention. Litter and cigarette butts abound. Location was convenient walk to town and grocery across the street. Also quiet at night. Best ice cream in NZ at Patagonia! And trust me, I tried ALL the ice cream.
The campsite was decent. I did like that the campground is attempting to go green (they had battery recycling!). The weird part is how they have the bathrooms and kitchen kind of sprinkled throughout the camp (which may be more convenient) but might be a little bit of a wait if it is occupied. I felt like it was a little bit expensive for what it was although the proximity to be able to walk and not have to pay for parking in Queenstown was very nice. I would consider staying here again.
Yes it is not cheap, but well worth the extra 10 NZD compared to the parking lots up the road. Well landscaped park like grounds considering we are in town. Great fun and quirky facilities. Very friendly welcome.
You get what you pay for with this site. Great proximity to central Queenstown (just an 8 min walk), and a good range of clean facilities (bathrooms, kitchen, BBQ). Not cheap at $65 for a 2 person non-power site, but a very good walking distance option.
UK 50-something couple
Very conveniently situated, with good quality facilities and very quirky bathrooms with murals and large photo walls. Being a town centre site, the pitches were small and barely adequate for a 7.5m campervan; you are very close to your neighbours and it’s tight to drive around. But a nice place to stay for a short while to “do” Queenstown.
$65 for an unpowered site, I just walked away. Unless the campsite offers rides over the mountains on a dragon then this is robbery. Most others campsite were fully booked so I think this place hiked up their price to take advantage of people.
Everyone raves about the toliet and shower facilities and yes they are amazing ... bath mats, what luxury!!! And yes it is conveniently close to town. But ... $65 for two people in an unpowered car park is just robbery. I know Queenstown is popular but this is pure fleecing. Generally we were shocked at how expensive NZ campsites are but this one surely took the prize for rip off.
Great location for central Queenstown, clean bathrooms/kitchens, friendly staff. Only 9 out of 10 because sites feel a little cramped.
Beautiful campsite, nice BBQ and kitchen and superb location. Tent sites are however really small and next to a busy street with a lot of nightlife activity (people passing by, fireworks, cars). Also pretty expensive for bringing your own tent in such a small spot.
Lovely campsite near the centre of Queenstown! Staff was friendly, facilities were clean, and the grounds were beautiful. It felt like we were in a park. $60/night for 2 pax in a powered spot.
Would stay here again! Even in November it gets crowded in the evening so book ahead in high season. Enough facilities and very clean. Bit pricey due to location in Queenstown but you have everything in walking distance.
Great central Queenstown site for campervans. The sites aren't too close together, but it is compact and quite busy, as it's a central town holiday park. We stayed 3 nights, and it was a great location: less than 10 minutes' walk into centre of Queenstown, plus not too loud. Great facilities, clean, and very quirky, with lots of 'found' art sculptures everywhere. Good showers. It rained really solidly for a day and a half, so we can say the drainage was really good! The staff were nice, and the wifi was fine: as others say, only 100MB unless you book an activity through the park.
Was initially staying for 2 nights, but stayed a 3rd night. I was even allowed to choose my own site. Super friendly staff go out of their way to help with bookings. Free unlimited wifi if you book a tour through them. Quirky bathrooms. Great communal kitchens and a short walk into town.
We spent two nights here - the staff were so friendly and helpful, and gave us local recommendations. We booked a lot of activities through them which means you get free WiFi. Nice camp area, quick walk into town, and there were a lot of cute ducklings wandering around! Only downside is that the cooking area in the main kitchen is quite small (but lots of tables and sofas), and you’ll need to pay to hire cooking equipment if you need it ($20 deposit, $17 back). Overall, would thoroughly recommend.
$55 per night for a powered site but it is Queenstown so a bit more $$. But great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Campsite is quirky. Showers and Toilets were v clean. My only negative would be the dump station half blocks the exit so you feel you are holding people up when filling up and emptying.
We loved this place, lots of quirky features with gave it character....Staff are really friendly . The dump stations are the best designed I came in contact with. The only thing I can criticise is the fact there isn't a playground.
Beautiful place, clean and nice facilities, helpful staff. If you contract any activities/tours with them you get unlimited wifi. Short walk from city centre.
This is an exceptional holiday park right in the heart of Queenstown. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for. Immaculately clean, beautifully manicured hedges and grass plus plenty of bird life. The facilities are top notch. Best park I’ve ever stayed in.
Nice and conveniently located for town and main sights. Super friendly staff. Able to book all the main attractions at the desk. Small site but you don't feel on top of other vans. Great, clean facilities.
Close to the supermarket and petrol station. Reasonable facilities, crowded.
Quirky park with some nice touches to make it a bit different to the usual. Muralled bathrooms and toilets were a nice touch and were kept clean and tidy. Kitchen area also well maintained. Whole park clean and tidy; does get busy but to be expected in Queenstown but we had no problem with noise. Easy walk to town, gondola and supermarket. Would stay again.
Nice camping site but very expensive and you will have to pay an extra $15 for the spa which is a small bath with bubbles, and for half an hour. Have to say that everything is very clean and the staff very sympathetic.
Quirky park, sites small and cramped but fine in a small motorhome. Close enough to town to walk everywhere. Very expensive as mentioned. My only complaint is that although the toilets are clean there are no feminine hygiene disposal units and the showers lack pressure.
Great park - easy walk into town. Free showers that are plentiful - hair dryers & towels for the floor when you step out of the shower. Fairly tight spacing between vans, but this was no issue. Great BBQ & kitchen facility. Free limited wifi & $5 for 1gB. Great easy to use dump station, drive over the grate and empty! Filters water station for drinking. Supermarket easy walking distance to & try Pedros House of Lamb up the road - delicious! Pricey at $60 per night for powered site, but worth it for all the reasons stated!
Friendly. Tiny pitches, but once you were settled seemed ok due to hedges etc. Exceptional toilet and shower block and good kitchen facilities. Very expensive at 65 dollars for one night (motorhome for two people) but that is Queenstown. Convenient for supermarket, town etc but we couldn't wait to get back into quiet NZ!
A great camping ground within walking distance of the lake, park and main area of Queenstown. Quirky sculptures and buildings with a pretty creek running down one side of the property. Kitchen, lounge area great place for relaxing and meeting people from all around the world.
Nice sites but smallish, our one backed on to a stream which was nice. Good clean and modern toilets / showers. Was a bit noisy with drunk people through out the night walking past but it was a Saturday night so to be expected in a party town. Nice clean motor home grey water / waste drop off - just drive over the grate / mesh and drop grey water (no need to connect hose!) nice clean sink to empty toilet waste. Clean and nice tasting fresh water fill up station/well (fill your drink bottles too!)
Spent the night here and was the most expensive campsite we had throughout our trip. Good facilities, friendly stuff and close to city. A bit disappointed as the view isn't good from the campsite as you can book sites closer to the city for cheaper with better view around.
Quaint camp grounds mainly full of motorhomes. Nice grounds with trees. sites small. Modern and clean bathroom with hair dryer. Large clean kitchen with recreation area. Great laundry facilities $4 for washing machine $4 dryer- large loads. Easy Walk to town. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Some free WIFI. Expensive $100 p/n for family of 4.
The overall experience was good but a tad expensive (we paid $65 for two in a self-contained camper van) for basic use of a campsite.
The good points are that it is well-located, it has large clean private bathrooms and the check-out is later than others (10:30am).
This place was a pleasure to stay at. The bathrooms were clean and not frustrating to use (like wash basins with separate hot and cold water faucets). The staff very friendly and helpful. The location is great, too -- walking distance to the Skyline and the city center. And the decor on the buildings, structures and around the grounds is colorful and neat.
I particularly appreciate the camper van dump station. There's a grate in the road so you don't have to connect a hose to dump the gray water -- just pull up to the station and open the outlet. Very convenient!
We enjoyed our stay at this holiday park. The open air, yet covered, barbecue and sitting area was perfect for prepping and enjoying meals as a family. The kitchen area was quite small, but functional. We also appreciated the small grassy patches near campsites. The holiday park was a short walk to town centre. There were not enough toilets, showers, and laundry facilities, but they were clean and private.
Really unique property, quaint & artsy. Lovely sites, friendly service & easy walk to town.
This is an amazing site so. Close to everything. City, supermarket, free transfers to Shotover etc. Clean, great amenities. So recommend.
Lovely campsite, friendly staff, good facilities. Very clean and unlimited showers, hairdryer, clean kitchen and fairly big living area. Our favourite of the two weeks camping. We paid $58 for two adults at a powered site.
We stayed on a powered site (with a campervan) for one night. This site had everything we needed and the toilets/shower facilities were very clean and a good standard. Walking distance to the town centre and overall, a pleasant site. Would definitely use again if visiting Queenstown.
$58 for 2 people on a powered site (they only have 3 non-powered sites). Great place, 5 minute walk into town. Great facilities: multiple kitchens, lounges and toilets/showers - so never feels overly crowded. BYO pots and pans for the kitchen. Can get a bit tight for spaces between vans, but we asked to change to another site and the staff happily obliged. Free 500mb WiFi per device.
Worth the money for location, facilities and good WiFi. Main desk was great for booking a bungy jump.
Clean nice spot but they really packed a lot of camper vans in there, the wifi was capped, and the restrooms weren't as modern/clean as I would have expected for paying $58 for two people.
Arrived very late in the evening. Payment in morning not a problem. Packed park but still quiet in the morning and a feel of privacy. The showers were great facilitated. Clean and tidy. Perfect for when in the city but you pay for it.
Free 1gb WiFi for a family of four, good and clean facilities. $25pp.
We had a powered site in the middle of winter. Awesome value for money and the staff went out of their way to make sure our few days there were great. Clean and tidy site, toilets and showers are kept immaculate. Even the campsite cat was super friendly. Kids activities are good with the standard pillow jump.
In wintertime the park is not too crowded, very friendly stuff member, quiet, amazing bathrooms (clean, hot water and a really good hairdryer). The distance to the town is about 5 minutes per walk. The price of 50NZD for two people on a powered site is a little higher then outside the city's but Wi-Fi and showers are included. We would come back again.
Nice camp ground at walking distance to the city centre. Nice and clean facilities (with free hot water) but not too well heated in winter. A little pricey compared to other campgrounds in NZ but still a good option (free 500MB of wifi).
Ideally situated holiday park walking distance from city centre. Saves the hassle of trying to find a park in town. Amazing bathrooms and toilet facilities. A fairly cramped site but understandable due to its location. The most expensive park we stayed at in Queenstown but given its situation this is reasonable. Allow most dogs so a real bonus. Would stay there again
Nice staff, very close to town, nice amenities. Overall one of our favourite paid sites of the trip and ended up staying a few extra nights. Give the spa bath a go, you won't regret it!
Best campground that we have discovered in a city. Excellent quirky clean facilities that are well thought out. Sure the sites are very close to each other but you are literally a couple of minutes from the CBD. Helpful friendly hosts and the bathrooms are fantastic Would highly recommend. Yes they are on the expensive side but we felt were worth it.
Good location and facilities. HOT showers and we got 1gb of WiFi free on arrival. Hosts were super helpful and kitchen was nice. Decent price for Queenstown and we had plenty of room in our 3 berth campervan. Drinking water available on site. Will stay there again if we're ever back in Queenstown.
Nice facilities but a bit expensive, I guess it is because it is close to town - $58 per night powered camper.
We were there on a weekend in April and had no noise issues but it was quite full and dense. The facilities were well maintained but dated. Easy walking to town for groceries and restaurants.
Erin Polcyn Sailer
Compact very busy campsite with sites close to one another. Nice hot water and pressure in the showers, which despite the large number of people staying there never seemed to be busy. Very helpful staff. Close to supermarket and petrol station.
Compact but great campsite close to town. Some noise at night from youngsters returning to site but we made lots of noise in the morning with children! Showers were the best of our trip with a mat to dry on as well as no limit on hot water. Lovely lady Kate at reception let us have a very, very late checkout.
All in all great campsite close to a very popular town.
Very well located, 4 minutes from town centre, 2 minutes from supermarket. Staff very friendly and helpful. Received free wifi when we booked an activity with them. Twice as good as their cost was at a discount. Bathroom excellent. Kitchen good but no plates or utensils.
If you have aspirations of being a battery hen this is the place for you! We have never been on a site which is so cramped as this one.
Stayed three nights on a powered site. The park is very pretty and all the facilities were great, clean and working as they should. Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from town or the cable car and 2 mins from a big supermarket. Staff were great and managed to move our site so that we could have more room for our car and camper. For the first two nights the park wasn't full and we had plenty of space but as the park filled up on our last day/night we realised that the sites are very close together and we were surounded by other campers on three sides.
Small, crowded campground but clean and close to city centre. If you're looking for a spot close to city and do not care about a small place this is a very good place to stay in city centre.
Supermarket around the corner, gondola and city centre, and quiet place at night.
Queenstown Holiday Park & Motels Creeksyde responds:
Thanks for your review, it's great that you enjoyed our central location, and found the park nice and peaceful. We have a lot of Dutch visitors as well as staff, so it was lovely to have you join us.
What a great campsite, location is perfect, 5 mins to city center, amazingly clean, friendly staff, perfectly designed, beautiful views of mountains with pine trees all over the site.
We went there with our camper-van in Dec 2015, stayed there two nights and then went to Milford sound, loved it so much that we stayed another night there when returning back to Christchurch, Highly recommended, Loved it to the most...
Queenstown Holiday Park & Motels Creeksyde responds:
10/10! Thank you so much for your amazing review, we really appreciate it. Come back anytime :)
Only stayed one night, but great location close to the City Centre. Site was particularly quiet even so. Only grumble is that the sites were very close to each other, although in this location it's not really a surprise. Plenty of showers and toilets, all tastefully and quirkily decorated and clean.
Queenstown Holiday Park & Motels Creeksyde responds:
Hi Richard, Thanks for such a great review. Our team work really hard to keep the park spotless and the gardens beautiful, so it's really nice to be appreciated.
Thanks again, and we hope the rest of your trip to New Zealand was fantastic.
Location was perfect - five minutes into the centre of town. Facilities are really good but spots are quite cramped next to one another.
Queenstown Holiday Park & Motels Creeksyde responds:
Thanks for your feedback. We are located just a short walk from the town centre, yet we are nestled in a beautiful garden stetting, which feels really private. It's important we know the sizes of campervans in order for us to find the best possible site, to try and avoid that cramped feeling.
Best holiday park out of 12 that we went to. Ended up staying another night because it was so nice. Staff were awesome! So helpful and friendly. Park was very clean and organized. Prime location next to the city centre of Queenstown.
Queenstown Holiday Park & Motels Creeksyde responds:
Hi Eric, Thank you so much for your generous compliments! You have really brightened our day with such a glowing review. Come back again!
Convenient location with a couple grocery stores across the street and a short walk to town. Powered site close to multiple facilities buildings. The staff were really nice and helpful. We stayed there twice -- before and after a night in Milford.
Queenstown Holiday Park & Motels Creeksyde responds:
Hi Avery, thank you for your review. We're thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us and gave us such a fantastic score. Thank you so much, and we hope to see you again.
Very expensive (though what isn't in Qeenstown). Lovely shower. Cute setting. Poor kitchen (4 burners only). Somewhat friendly staff. Very, very close to town, leisurely stroll.
Crowded - too few showers. On top of that very loud people without the operators to intervene. Worst place so far in New Zealand.
Excellent campsite with beautiful clean facilities. The toilets have quirky and fun decor and the area is so close to town. Totally recommended and friendly staff as well.
Queenstown Holiday Park & Motels Creeksyde responds:
Hi Valerie, Thank you so much for such a wonderful review! We're thrilled that you enjoyed the park so much. We hope to see you again.
City campground so no views and smaller sites. But within a 5 minute walking distance from the town centre. Various blocks of clean and good facilities. Lovely kitchen areas and nice bbq's. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended if you wish to stay in central Queenstown.
Perfect camping with a 5 minute walk from the gondola and 15 minutes from the city centre. Nice staff and good, clean facilities.
Really nice place. Good location nearby the centre and nice facilities. Staff are very friendly. Really recommend it.
Well kept site. Smallish sites for a big camper. Try for site 34/35/36 as they are close to the grill, showers, toilets and kitchen but not too close! Friendly helpful staff. Wifi lacks the bandwidth with lots of visitors. Close to town and so convenient.
Small pitches even by New Zealand standards but only a few minutes walk into town and the lake. The toilet and shower blocks are unique in the way they are decorated and whilst there didn't seem to be many I never had to queue while we were there.
Perfect location for a couple of days in Queenstown.
Perfect campsite a 5 minute stroll from the centre of Queenstown and the Skyline lift. Yes your tucked in neatly but it is a town centre. Facilities good and clean, used the dump station too, which wasnt easy to park up near but it was ok. Worth the money for the ease of which you can get to things in town. Staff hugely friendly
Without a doubt, the facilities at Queenstown Top 10 Creeksyde are top-notch. The toilets are decorated with amazing artwork, and everything is very clean and very well-maintained.
The location is within walking distance to the tram or downtown. Groceries are available at a supermarket just 2 blocks away.
Nice view of the surrounding mountains from the campsites, and decent atmosphere, but a little confined. And Queenstown itself was a bit more hurried than we would have liked on holiday. No fault to anyone, just the way it is.
Staff were very pleasant. Had the weather cooperated this would have been a great stay. If I went back to Queenstown I might look at more spacious options out of town, but those with powered sites are limited.
holidaymad from Solihull
Really friendly and helpful staff. Location is great, being near the town and just round the corner from an excellent supermarket.
Clean and well equipped facitlities.
Due to its popularity the pitches are really small and you are cheek by jowl with your neighbouring camper and the cabins.
Overall clean and nice staff. Good location close to city centre. However, a bit crowded and small.
Very expensive! 96 $ for a family of four in peak season. Perfect location with walking distance to gondola and to city center. No playground in the park but a very nice on close by in the school yard beside the holiday park. Nice facilities.
Great location - 5-10 minute walk into downtown Queenstown and the facilities are immaculate and the site is well-organised. There is limited choice in Queenstown, so you will probably end up staying here. It's pricey BUT the campervan sites are very, very cramped together and in the busy season you may have to wait for a shower in the morning. Don't expect any privacy or peace and quiet, and whatever you do avoid pitches 43-46, which are in a roundabout in the middle of the site around the communal BBQ. If you want a bit of privacy, then ask for pitch 34 which is tucked away in a corner surrounded by bushes.
Very much trees, sweet digs :)
There are different showers and kitchens spread across the whole holiday park . The shower we used was very private and clean.
The kitchen small but tidy, but there are more kitchens, so it doesn't matter.
I think: the very best place to stay with your van or motorhome in Queenstown!!!
This is BY FAR the best holiday park we've been to in NZ. We are a family of 4 and stayed in about 10 different places so far in our trip in the South Island. This place is a piece of art as far as its looks, facilities and interior and exterior decoration. Every little piece both inside the buildings and outside was made with love and creativity. Toilets, showers, kitchens and bbq places are spread around and are always few steps from where you camp, and each one has its own unique design with great attention to details. Kitchens, Toilets and showers all feel as if you are at home and are accordingly clean. Most beautiful and convenient dump station even ;) And after all this, it's a 5 minute walk to town and gondola. Plus there is a nice little natural stream running through the camp. It was actually hard to leave this place!
Pleasant and comfortable. Nice location near the town center, fully equipped and well managed.
Up to the usual high standard of Top 10 sites. Friendly and helpful staff. Grounds and facilities kept spotlessly clean. Busy and cramped as expected for central QT location and above average cost ($52 for 2 on powered site). Inclusive wifi would be a nice touch - esp at this cost. Overall - would recommend to others.
The toilet and showers at the place were the best we saw on the Sth Island. Fresh hand towels in the facilities and heaters for the showers were a nice touch. Staff very friendly and can arrange adventure bookings.
Sites were close together, but this is a Top 10 in QT, what else do you expect within walking distance of the town centre.
Very neat dump station / grey water setup, best yet!
We would happily stay here again.
Cramped and unpleasant. Unhelpful staff, awful place.
Very central location, making it very easy to walk to the gondola and town. Although sites were quite small, we were separated from other campers by shrubs. Facilities clean and modern.
Iris Anette Berger
A pretty camp/holiday park, only five minutes walk from city centre. Friendly staff and great facilities. paid $25 each per night, so it was a little expensive, but I can understand it since it is in town.
Found it via the internet. I was very satisfied with this camping ground. We paid $25 each person, quite expensive but the toilets/showers were very clean and the area was great. Only 5-10 minutes walk to the town.
Quite expensive but worth it. 3 minutes from the city centre. Really charming, clean and friendly campsite! Perfect and not too expensive if only staying a few days.
Great location !!! Five minutes walk to town. Nice facilities (showers, toilets, kitchen, tv room). But small parking places.
Good sanitary facilities, sometimes expensive, sometimes small places.
Nice site and staff but a lot of different kinds of guests... Had stuff stolen from bathroom :(
Yet another example of Top 10 squeezing campervans into a smallish site like sardines - and charging a lot of money for what you get! Quirky facilities - you look at a mural of the Queenstown can-can girls as you come out of your shower! However, friendly, helpful staff and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Close to gondola and within fairly easy walking distance of lively town centre, good eating places and walks by lake.
Overcrowded park and very tight spots - we were right up next to all the bins, luckily we were in a smaller van otherwise would be very hard to squeeze in.
Upside was that there was a toilet block opposite, and also two single toilet/shower ensuites.
Good location to town, only a 5-10 minute walk.
Places too small and expensive.
Too small places and expensive.
We stayed during Peak Chinese New Year...so it was crowded and facilities stretched next to our site (R)...but i went over to the main building and found plenty of room.
The old mechanical decorations were are really nice touch...I found myself playing with the valves.
Location, Location, Location - could not have been better.
Really easy refund for 2 days when we went from 4 to 3 folks in our site. thank you!
Only downside - water pressure too high for the sinks - the water splashed all over floor if not careful.
Very efficiently run, clean campsite. However, staff are not very friendly or helpful. Pitches a very very close together - cough and your neighbour will hear you!
Most expensive campsite in New Zealand.
Attractive and quiet, although quite cosy, caravan park. Centrally located with good supermarket, tourist attractions and restaurants all within easy and pleasant walking distance. Slightly difficult to work out when the possibly-too-few shower and toilet facilities are free with little or no undercover waiting area outside these facilities. Helpful reception staff.
A very well organised and modern park. The town is a 10 minute stroll away. The site has plenty bathrooms and free BBQs to use, and is quiet even in the peak season time we were there.
Staff are helpful and can book all the activities for a little less than they cost in town. Free showers.
Yes sites are small - but this is central Queenstown, the most popular tourist place in NZ. The land is probably worth millions, with the rates bill to go with it, hence the smaller plots.
I really liked this site. Yes it was a busy place and not so much space but everything was very easy.
Angled parking space for campers. all drive in.
Long water hoses at the pitch
Plenty of toilets and showers
Novel drive over grid and open the waste water valve dump station. Novel poo tank drop off too.
Location close enough to town for convenience. Far enough not to be disturbed by the revellers.
- highest price paid here.
Mixed feelings about queenstown itself...
We spent one night here during a tour of the South Island.
Good point is that it is nice and close to the town centre and within easy walking distance
Site did feel quite compact, and there was not much room between the pitches - mostly filled with hire vans!
Well designed dump point, Just drive over and dump into drain, no need for any hose!
Helene & Peter
We spent 3 nights in this wonderful holiday park. Very close to the city center. Very clean facilities and all you need. Plenty of hot water. Wifi payable.
Perfect to discover Queenstown for a few days. I-site at the reception. Everything you need is at walking distance.
Quite crowded, but somehow you still have your privacy.
Main advise is to book in advance because this place is very busy.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Excellent Top 10 site close to the centre of town. When full the sites can be on top of one another with not enough showers and toilets.
Quirky themed Top 10 site, a bit pricier than I'd like to have paid, but then all Top 10s are expensive. The site was clean and there is a lovely little outdoor cooking and dining area. Helpful tour desk for bookings.
Nigel & Annie Dale
Very nice site, stayed 2 nights to enjoy Queenstown. $45 per night for 2 adults. Showers free but wifi expensive ($15 per 24 hours or $25 for 72 hours). Great location, easy walk into town & near gondola. Quirky dump station made unpleasant task nicer
Cramped site with walkable distance to city center.
Beautiful and made with love. Located very centrally, just 15 minutes to town.
Very good, clean, friendly, near the town, but expensive.
There is only a few sites near the town before we decided to stay in this most expensive, we visited the others - not comparable. The cleanest with best showers, 5 mins to the centre on foot.
Good location near the city.
We loved this park! For starters, it is a very short 10 minute walk right into the center of town. The staff was super helpful and gave us a pitch under some lovely trees very near the bathrooms. The bathrooms and common areas were spotless. I discovered a bathroom on the women's side that was self contained - shower, toilet, sink - so I used this mostly. There is also a sauna in this bathroom that you can rent, which would be wonderful in the wintertime. One of the best things about this camp is its creativity. It has a "steampunk" theme. Someone has spent a great deal of time building fun steampunk features. The best of all is the dump station, with a flushing steampunk toilet for the black waste. I could have spent a long time exploring this park, just looking at all of the steampunk art that someone has created. Even if you never stay at this park, you have just got to visit to see the fun. But do stay. I would say that it is in the top two or three of my 18 camp experiences on the South Island.
This is in a prime location, within easy walking distance of the gondola ride and Queenstown, with a supermarket and delicatessen just around the corner. The site was spotlessly clean, our toilets and showers a real triumph with wonderful effort in design and decoration. However do not expect large plots or great privacy, this is a prime site in Queenstown after all. If you were to come in high season, it would be not quite packed like a tin of sardines, but certainly close!
Judith & John Bishop
Very 'green' clean camp. Close to town, however very expensive and packed in tightly.
Close to town centre. Good facilities. Helpful staff.
Very 'quirky' site but facilities good and clean - easy walk into town. Enjoyed our stay.
Close to town centre, good management, lots of activities.
Good location, very helpful staff, very good facilities.
Clean/close to town/a bit pricey relative to other top10's.
Quirky, great facilities, brilliant location, walkable to town, pickups at camp site.
Good campsite and friendly service.
Helpful staff!! Great location! However, camping site itself not very nice; very packed, at most 1.5 metres to next campervan.
It really is all about the location..very friendly staff on reception who were getting slammed with phone calls/people..gave us choice of spots for our camper. Very cramped but the grounds are really beautifully presented and the facilities are quirky and clean..probably could do with another couple of showers/toilets. 5 minute walk to the middle of town/gondola/fergburger..can't beat the location but the price reflects that at $55 per night for a powered site. So after we plug in and power up it's off to town..first stop fergburger..after the obligatory 40 minute wait...the Big Al and life will never be the same again.Choice bro.
This is a rather amazing urban holiday park. This was one of the best landscaped parks we visited, and the facilities were clean and uncrowded and unusually well thought out (ah--the graywater drain that needed no hose, so simple and clever). The sites can be a bit tight and you would want to drive about carefully. The staff, while absolutely deluged with questioning visitors while we were there, were unfailingly polite and helpful and did not put us off.
Great proximity sites. Small but given location acceptable. Art work in facilities gives it a classy feel.
More convenient but a bit crowded.
Location Location!! Easy walk into town so you can park and explore. Stores nearby. Washrooms are art deco and amazing.
Clean and orderly. Good facilities, quiet with helpful staff.
Stayed in a 'standard' cabin. Not at all what I expect from a Top10. The room was dirty. The other facilities were fair, if you can - stay somewhere else.
Very central. Artistic decoration and it looks lovely. Very clean, but a little bit expensive.
Stayed here for 2 nights in early July to see QT and do some skiing.
Convenient for town.
Not enough showers.
Didn't enjoy our stay here, found the park to be cramped and was the most expensive one we stayed at. Obviously as freedom camping isn't allowed anywhere near QT then you are a bit stuck!
Richard and Janet
Not bad, but not the Top10s best. More cramped, amenities can be very busy. Clean. Reception is relaxed and helpful.
Nice campground, small places, helpful people.
Mike & Mandy
Nice campsite, close to town centre, very clean facilities.
Campervan site - compact, but great bathroom facilities, interesting decor throughout the sites and within easy walking distance of town, the gondola and supermarket. Dump station not in the best position.
Nice and clean.
Huge room with all we needed.
Nice spot within the city. Next to a rugby stadium, cool games on the weekend, although campervans were 1 metre close together - it was nice and tidy.
Perfect place to visit the city, 5 minutes walk to downtown. Perfectly clean bathrooms and kitchen, very helpful staff.
Crowded, very little space.
Poorly furnished, near the road (noisy), poor kitchen facilities, huts/cabins and sites (camping), do not recommend it.
John A Jerome
Expensive, not unique, people great and good location.
Far too many campervans for the size of the site and inadequate facilities for the numbers of people. But in a good position, in walking distance to town and Skyline Gondola.
Amazing location, fantastic amenities.
Easy reach to town. Compact, but excelled in every respect.
Paul & Michelle Harmer
Good site, fantastic facilities, good location - a short walk to town.
Small but sweet and cosy with funny toilets and showers (created by an artist).
Very neat and tidy place, with a big 'green' attitude.
Very well equipped and clean and good location.
Packed, very small sites but clean, tidy and excellent location.
close to town, facilities were very few at our end of the campground but we didn't have to wait at all, tent sites were quite small, we were lucky we could park our car on the site next to us as no one else was there.
Location excellent, site very cramped.
Very good, near to everything. Site very lovely, BBQ area and helpful staff.
Only mircowave and only two toasters not working. Old and damaged. Campground too congested with mobile homes.
Excellent location, good facilities, near town centre - very crowded.
Lovely setting and good price. Very close to the town and supermarket.
Seth & Carla
Good facilities but very overpriced for campgrounds. Pretty crowded as well.
Nice location, very nice facilities and nice site. A little pricey but that is to be expected in Queenstown.
Again good clean facilities and most helpful personnel.
All Top10 sites have small pitches compared to the UK. We feel hemmed in at all locations.
Les and Carole Savins
Were very cramped and they tended to 'feel' like car parks. However, staff were helpful, costs were also high.
Well organised, good and clean facilities - a bit crowded.
Really well equipped campsite, very clean with individual showers. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a good base for excursions, the staff were really helpful and the BBQ area was brilliant. Walk able into town in 5mins.
As expected, our two day stay during Christmas at the Creeksyde exceeded our expectations. From the Creeksyde, only a 5-10 minute walk and you were in town or at the Skyline, which is most convenient. We particularly enjoyed the fact that most shops and restaurants were open during our stay and the craft fair at dock side was an added bonus. We know from staying at Top10 Holiday Parks that we would have all the coveniences to make our "home away from home" as pleasant as possible. Many thanks to Claudia from Wilderness Motorhomes; your internet assistance is second to none! I look forward to another "Wild Kiwi" experience in the fall! Ciao
Friendly staff. Nice tv rooms. Sites are very small. Close to eachother.
A tightly packed Top10 site with excellent facilities.
But very expensive - $45!
Expensive (v). But clean, packed in like sardines!!
Not enough kitchen/stoves for cooking and not enough toilets/showers to use.
Sub-optimal cooking facilities, (old fashioned oven), extra charge for showers - the first one stole $4 when reception was already closed.
Close to city, quiet, perfect bathrooms.
Green location next to the city.
Clean, great location, busy.
Katherine and Pete Smal
Very central location. Good facilities. Helpful staff.
Too expensive, placed beside rubbish bin. Loud at night.
Creeksyde is a great holiday park, the staff are very friendly & helpful, you can book your tours thru them as well. The amenities are very clean & comfortable, the park is in close proximity to everything, you can walk into town easily & the park has heaps of trees in it. 2nd time we've stayed here for our holiday.
Very good location near to town centre. The sites are very small and there was traffic noise during the night.
You get the best value for your money.
Gordon and Sue
Again showers here very expensive and timed! Good site, well maintained, well run and close to town.
Very busy site and not given very big sites to pitch on, one of the more expensive and still had to pay for the showers - but it is in Queenstown.
Quiet and not too many people.
Best location close to 'downtown' and gondolas, two good supermarkets very near, nice sites and setting, good facilities.
Small sites, very unfriendly staff and one of the most expensive sites we have stayed in. Rated 5 also for location.
Fantastic location. Friendly and helpful - very clean.
Queenstown Holiday Park & Motels Creeksyde is open for business… Visit Website …now's your chance to take a closer look.
Too small a site for number of tent pitches, old facilities.
Really nice staff, perfect and clean facilitiesRight in town, (500m from city centre). Bit expensive (like everything in Queenstown)
Dr Dorthe Bossow
Very friendly staff, but campsites too small.
Super facilities, near town.
A very cramped and busy site. Insufficient toilets and showers for number of visitors. NOT recommended.
Bruce & Bonnie Childs
Very commercial setting, very expensive - clean facilities.
We have not stayed in a poor Top10 yet.
Gillian de Vries
Like most Top10 parks, the facilities are excellent - hot showers, clean ablution blocks, lots of extras like heating , hair dryers etc. But sites are small and cramped, more like a parking lot for campervans.
A good park but very very busy.
Gave it a 9 rather than a 10 due to lack of space. Toilets scattered around here and there some interesting little design features throughout the site.
Great location Its a short walk to town which means you don't have to take the van in and struggle to find a park. Its right near a supermarket too.
Staff were friendly and very keen to help you book activities and help you make the most of you trip.
It was a bit expensive but i guess it was Queenstown in peak summer season.
Crowded, faciliities not as good as many other sites.
Very good location and very good facilities.
A little cramped and you feel a bit on top of the other campers but they is enough room and facilities for everyone
Very central to everything
Clean and tidy
All have excellent facilities but expensive.
Well laid out, clean, helpful efficient staff, well located and friendly. Lovely atmosphere with a warm and homely feel. Highly recommended.
Great service. A bit to pricey though.
So central to everything in town. Very clean - across road is fab deli
Good location. Great facilities, however very expensive.
Staff member was having a bad day.
Perfect for the gondola.
Ladys toilets always wet, dirty and slippery
Close to all attractions and within walking distance to the best.
Central location, well tended, clean, ecological, no extra charge for shower.
This park was the best.
Great location. A 10 minute walk to town. Creative, artsy, colourful sites with lush landscaping. Good laundry, easy access to groceries, great wifi signal, walking distance to gondola.
Kevin and Teresa
Very central and good amenities.
Sites very cramped and although facilities worked not enough toilets and showers. Too close to vans.
The most expensive one, bad computers for internet, small kitchen but close to the city.
To big, to less space
Excellent location, very scenic, amazing facilities.
Excellent site, although small + town based
Very good, near city, all facilities in very good condition, friendly service, no nice view
Near centre, clean enough toilets and showers
Had to pay the full price, but they placed us on the carpark.
Not very impressed with facilities, although staff very helpful
Very nice location near the centre, very clean
Very clean, close to city
Very busy - well located
Thirza & Roeland
Most holiday parks are not our favourite but this one is really awful. Like a caravan parking, you're built in between others. This will cost you $30. Showers not included. Drive to Glenorchy - along the road lots of nice DOC camp sites.
Busy and space allocated on arrival - more process orientated and less friendly. Facilities good - casual for large scale.
Had everything we needed.
Overcrowded but clean.
53 pwer site and zero sanitaries. The sites were too small. All in all very expensive $45 was our most expensive power site.
Nice, we missed the playground (for our kids)
Very good area and close to the town centre.
Far too crowded. It would appear they had halved each site in order to cram more people in.
Ok but highest price.
Small pitches, but shady. Friendly staff & excellent facilities. Spa bath if you pay for it.
Not as good as expected, overcrowded, shower didn't work, no local NZ staff, no shade and no view of lake (as stated in brochures). Otherwise all others have been great.
Great location, but they really 'pack' the campervans in. It's full every night and you have no space to move. Avoid if you can.
Short distance to city centre, nice facilities, friendly staff.
The hosts were very lovey but the sites are very tiny.
Close to town, well lit and clean facilities with a nice lounge. The advertisement for a "spa" is a little misleading since it is actually a bath tub for 2 people and costs $15/h per person. Sites were also very close together.
Like all the Top 10 network, it is highly recommended. Always bright and clean.
Clean, well maintained, 'green' facility, good location near town shops etc..
Very nice camping ground just 5 min walk from town centre. Only point is the lack of space between the campervans. Clean toilets and showers.
OK facilities but pitches crammed in. Some much worse than others - our van less the 6" from 4 other vans!
Kitchen and bathrooms, very beautiful.
Very hip, but clean and nice. Friendly people.
Big site, new, good design. Close to town.
Very clean, sunny layout with cabines & hostel rooms. Good site though.
Fantastic facilities, very clean. Kooky buildings in the campground. Just 10min walk from town centre but quiet & well lit at nighttime.
