Large kitchen, social area and good bathrooms. All kept clean. Wasn't really a problem for us too much, but there is no wifi and little phone reception out there (actually quite refreshing :) ) Would stay again, but only for a short time.

One night on a powered site - very quiet, I think we were the only people staying that night. Good bathrooms and kitchen facilities. Close location to Kaikoura. Amazing sunrise!

Seems to be a favourite with local families enjoying fishing and holidays by the beach. Camp sites are small and there is a train line close by which had trains running during the night. Also: there where wild pigs roaming through the camp site at night ?! On the plus side: access to a river from the park, nice communal facilities for cooking and shelter. Overall enjoyable but not for those who are looking for privacy.
Great spot by the sea with direct access to gorgeous scenic beach. Surrounded by crayfish errand even given a free one by neighbours.
Sites a bit too crowded and on top of each other. Facilities were good. Bit close to road and traffic and train noise.
However, rather quaint and we liked it.
Really beautiful but a bit close to a fairly busy road. All facilities great.
It was fine. A nice view but near a loud road. Good facilities.
Really nice place to stay we where pretty much the only people at the powered sites, very clean and everything is there that you will need kitchen, laundry, toilets, showers BBQ etc. right across the road from the beach even though it rained we still enjoyed ourselves and the park is still amazing
Happy place. Tired but clean. Rained the whole time we were here so didnt really get a chance to look around much :(
