Fantastic location. You can pretty much camp on the beach and there's a great point break. Perfect peeling waves with pretty much no one on them!! We stayed here 2 nights.

I stayed 2 nights in a cabin, lovely hosts, road noise not an issue for me but may be for others, cabin spacious and clean, facilities were fine but very busy, only 2 showers and these were controlled on outside of the stall. Quite dark at night with minimal lighting but I like that. Would stay again.

Stayed here just for one night. It's close to Kaikoura, a good place to be. The beachfront place I got was great. You can watch the sea and have a walk on the beach. The traffic-noise from the highway slows down at night, and the planes don't fly during night time. The only annoying things here are the showers: just two each for men and women in a block are not enough sometimes. There'll be a queue. And uncomfortable with a button to press for on and off, placed outside of the shower cabin...

Nice camping ground and a nice view to the sea. Kitchen is ok, but mens toilet unacceptable..ground is dirty from sand.. thats no problem but the rest seems to be cleaned up once every two weeks. The smell was horrible. Every long drop toilet has a better smell.Sorry there is a lot to improve

Beautiful spot, but NOT a safe swimming beach, especially for kids. Very crowded and noisy - motorway traffic is nearby, airplanes from the nearby airport fly very low overhead, and other campers play loud music into the night.

Facilities are great. Very clean and well maintained.

Good size pitches but quite confusing pitch marking. Plenty of people in wrong pitches causing some consternation. Showers dated and not ideal having to pay by putting money in outside the showers. Good access to beach.

Very nice spots close to the beach and convenient for Kaikoura. kitchen and bathrooms were clean, though things feel spaced out and little lighting when walking around. Good recycling done here. Showers were annoying, with the radio permanently on, on and off button outside the shower doors and lights are automatic which means you may run out of water and then fumble in the dark to active the lights and start again. I feel I wasted more water by not being able to control the water on/off. Hosts are friendly but are just hosts and don't offer any services really and are not clued up about Kaikoura excursions.

Good equipments, nice location, noise from the road nearby but do not belueve when they tell you you buy 10GB of internet data for extra 5 dollars. Don't throw your money away. At least between 6pm and 9pm, when we gave up and went to sleep, you couldn't even see your emails from places close to the reception. It's a shame they sell what they obviously cannot deliver when the camp is only half full! What a shame. We needed to do work on the net and felt ripped off. Zero connection!
