Great spot. Lovely clean toilets and shower, laundry facilities. Bucketing down rain so we missed the glow worm dell.

This is the first time in two weeks of travel, moving every day, that I have given any site a 10. Great hosts, great site, clean toilets and showers, with good hot water. Right next to the beach and a short walk to a well equipped little town. Good sites with some (or a lot!) of shrubbery between. Stayed two nights I liked it so much. Saturday was packed (end of school break?), but still quiet, Sunday there were but a few of us. Would stay again if I ever travel to NZ again and am in the area.

A great little spot with a lovely couple who own it. We were greeted as if they were stoked to have us there. More than happy to help, advised us if the amazing glow worm dell across the street. Well priced and included unlimited wifi. Clean facilities and close to the beach. We even accidentally slept in which not only wasn't an issue but we didn't even hear any of the other campervans around us leaving. Would highly recommend.
Good position by the beach and 15mins walk to the town. Clean facilities but only 4 showers ( 2 shared). Internet not worth bothering with after 4pm with everyone trying to use it. Sites rather cramped.
Nice space for camper. Right next to beach (watch out for sandflies). 1.5km to town centre. Quiet. Good bathrooms. Dump station and laundry. Friendly staff. Near to Glowworms. We stayed in January.
Very friendly staff! We were due to arrive at closing time, and when we arrived even later, we were met with a printed note taped to the front door with instructions, wifi codes etc. We stayed in an unpowered site and were happy with the facilities.
Easy to find, about 1.5km out of town headed North. The site is about 20 seconds from the beach which is in keeping with the West Coast, strong swell and windswept. The walk along is good and the sunsets would be stunning.
The site is clean with ducks and chickens wandering about and the small animal menagerie is fun for the kids. The kitchen has a dining area and really good is that there is an abundance of utensils pans and even drying towels. Really saves walking 20 metres or so with all your cooking kit. A bit pricey at $70 for 2 adults and 3 kids (near Christchurch prices) but it was ok. Yeah the free wifi was a draw for the kids though they spent most of their time in their devices!
This is a great location! It is close to town and a minute from the beach! Perfect for watching the sunset. Wifi, kitchen usage, showers/toilets included. We paid $32 for an unpowered site. There are a few animal camp-mates like alpacas and pigs!
